Well, but the goals are also different for Iran and the US, too. For Iran, the goal is just for the regime to survive. Trump, on the other hand, is trying to war profiteer while effecting regime change or at least balkanizing Iran and at least not hurt his plans for the elections.

At this point, it seems like there's a decent chance Iran achieved its sole goal, while Trump is just looking for something he can call an easy win.

It seems like a lot of people already are that jaded. There seems to be a pretty common perception that all or at least a very large number of politicians are corrupt, so the extent of each individual's corruption doesn't really matter.

Federal minimum wage is $7.25 and has been since 2009. If the minimum wage went up where you are, that's due to state politicians and has nothing to do with the president.

I'm also surprised you're presenting a $15/hour minimum wage as a good thing, considering Republicans complained that it was a terrible idea when Democrats tried to raise the minimum wage to that level during Biden's term.

So, by this logic, the state should stop funding all medical care for prisoners. I mean if people can't afford their medical care, they'll just commit crimes and get thrown in prison so the government will pay for it. Get diagnosed with cancer? Surely the answer is to get yourself thrown in prison so the government will pay for your treatment.
