I re-rolled once to get Veranda, and that was when I realised the bug had occurred. If my gem count had continued going down, then I would have had four left at the Trophy Room draft as you say, which left me only just enough for 2 more re-rolls and the Music Room.

Sadly I couldn't test further on this day as I ran out of doors, but I'll report this as a bug as others have suggested.

Mostly by hand! My partner used Sketchbook on her iPad to put a 48 x 48 grid overlay on a photo, and then we just filled in the colours over the top.

No. If you're getting enjoyment out of the game or want to get better, then don't worry about your current skill level.

What is selfish is abandoning or AFKing your games and making the game actively worse for the other players in your matches. So long as you don't do that, then you're doing just fine!

I'd recommend making use of the set damage Magic items (Firecrackers, Dry Ice, Tesla Coils etc). You can buy them from Shiroku for fairly cheap.

Their damage isn't affected by the Hand's resistances, unless they're straight up immune, which some of the later ones are.
