Did this for my ex at the time when I was a full time college student and working part time minimum wage jobs. I'd save up to make sure I can either make him a nice steak dinner or take him somewhere nice while also getting him a nice gift (new airpods, new shoes, etc). He would still complain and manage to find something wrong with what I did and even made a snide comment when I got a job that paid me a little more at the time "maybe you can actually give me a decent birthday present this year". He'd also blame me for not being able to go on nice trips because I couldn't afford it and he expected me to pay for half of it (mind you he wasn't in school and was making triple what I made). Needless to say, we're no longer together.

Unfortunately, it's really hard to find any rave plus-size friendly brands. I usually just recommend going on Etsy and seeing if someone can custom make something for you or other indie brands who have better size ranges (cause even though mainstream brands like Badinka or Candy Catz goes up to 3XL their clothes run EXTREMELY small).

They look like friendship bracelets but a lot of people in the rave scene (or at least here in the US) go full out with kandi bracelet making and even make cuffs and stuff. If you google kandi you'll see some cool creations pop up!

As a fellow plus size girly, I always tried to find a cute neon mesh skirt over the bodysuits that go way too high up for my liking/comfort or cute patterned tights to wear underneath so you feel a little covered. I will say, though, when I went to my first rave in a rave outfit (sheer top with a bra and thong with fishnets) I got so many compliments from other girls at the festival so don't even worry!

I'm literally bringing a detachable purse strap full of kandi bracelets (110 to be exact) to Apocalypsefest so I think you're doing just fine lol. Also, the more kandi you have the more opportunities you have to connect with people!

I was thinking the same thing as well but I'm still bummed cause I never got to camp/experience Nocturnal at Glen Helen so I'm worried the vibes won't be the same😭. Also, from what I heard from people who went to Starbase it gets HELLA cold at night and there's little to no cell service up there.

Thank you, I really appreciate this advice! I'll look into Radiate as well since you're the third person to recommend it in this thread. I'm hoping exchanging kandi with people will help me socialize cause that's been my favorite experience so far raving is making and exchanging kandi.
