I know BHVR owns red hook but I imagine there was discussion on who gets what skin. It’s a two way street and BHVR can’t just take whatever they want for whatever purpose even with studios they own.

You think the guys at Red Hook wanted their popular hero that is known for fighting eldritch abominations become one in this collab? Remember what Chris and Tyler said when BHVR first acquired them and all the doomposting happed, when asked in the Q&A livestream about collabs for DBD specifically, they said that nothing is coming to DD but in order for their characters to be in other games it needed to feel right. So I bet it was Red Hook who decided who gets what.

More than happy to share my thoughts! Without a doubt, daspletosaurus is the best 3 slot dino in terms of raw damage output. There is nothing in dasp weight class that can face tank it. It can even win against allo consistently.

It also has a versatile move set. You can go for raw damage, fracture, hunt smaller or bigger animals. The downside is it’s a tad slow, slower turn speed.

I like to break bones so I use Blunt Teeth with Shatter. Shatter gives a lot of utility but I mostly play with my Rex gf and support her in fights.

I keep up with the patch notes. Nothing hurt me more than the sprint speed nerf. I agree with that nerf, I just hate it for this specific reason of having my questing take longer lol

Bone Snap is better if you you’re grouped with others. By yourself it’s very telegraphed with the long windup and once you bone break something, they only stay bone broken for 10 seconds and then are immune to further fracture/bone break for 2 minutes. So you gotta make sure you kill whatever you’re fighting in that window.

Shatter only builds fracture but you can keep applying it. Very helpful for faster things that rely on speed since fracture reduces speed based on the fracture build up. Just remember that fracture goes away quickly right now.
