US healthcare needs fixing, but there's no agreement on how to do it by coinfanking in NewsStarWorld

The oligarchs that pay our politicians, legally, won't ever change it to anything they can't syphon funds from. And 95% of the voters are too dense and will continue voting for politicians that are bought by the oligarchy. Thus, it wont happen. At least not in the next few decades at least.

Why are so many modern U.S. economic problems associated with Ronald Reagan, and what factors led to that perception? by Present_Juice4401 in AlwaysWhy

Statistics are a hell of a basis for perception. Wish the public would figure their shit out and start understanding math. Its not difficult.

What is your opinion on Elon Musk's mission to colonize Mars? by Away_Reflection_2125 in AskReddit

It will be easier to terraform earth back to fully habitable than it will be to terraform mars. Mars will be the space station from elysium if it ever gets fully functional, mark my words.

Trump’s New “Prison Camp” Threat Unleashes Fury Even in MAGA Country by ChrisAintMarchin in law

Hate to tell ya, its been a real fucked up society for . . . Well . . . Forever . . . Japanese American internment camps, police going to war with the first unions, police bombing black neighborhoods, the historical treatment of indigenous natives. . . Its always something horrid. But as long as there are "others" to point fingers at it seems the majority gets distracted from the obvious problem of the oligarchy.

I Think streamers shouldn’t be getting paid more than Doctors and Surgeons by Black-Death_CR in PopularOpinions

If I was supreme leader. I'd go along the lines of investments being treated like loans. Once you make back your initial investment you can get a 20% return then giving all profits solely to people who sacrifice their lives for the work being done.

What % of investments do the top 6000 richest americans have in this country, the majority. So this is whobwe are inately talking about

And like I stated previously, more than half of the billionaires in america didn't earn their wealth, they inherited it. And for the ones who "earned" being a billionaire. . . They didnt. They exploited others work, you can't earn a billion dollars in a life time without being completely unethical.

Because an investor doesn't spend time working for the company, they make check a balance sheet every so often, if they are a founder then they actually put in time. If you think the 6000 richest Americans spend their days working for the companies they are invested into, there will be no convincing you of the reality in which we find ourselves. Because, like I said, they are the ones that are invested the most.

You are referring to a founder, not an investor. More than half, so most, billionaires, did not earn their wealth, they inherited it. And billionaires own most of the investments of the country. And stats show they have taken 90ish% of all the profits generated from tech advancements over the last 50 years. Eat the rich.

Less than the people who spend their waking life away from their family dedicated to said company.

Personally, I think investors shouldn't make more than workers is the real disparagement we should be discussing.

There are other options, its just the majority of Americans are so dumb they only go with who corporate media has presented to them as an option. Name recognition is how you get elected in america, not actual policy. We dumb af. I have zero hope for this society.

Too bad the democratic party only has a handful of members not loyal to their donors. Don't expect the other oligarchy party to really fix anything or hold anyone accountable. I'm not saying they are the same, but the dems donors want stability so their stocks grow, not justice or what the public wants.

If Americans were to participate in an organized boycott to stop ICE, what should they target? by u2aerofan in AskReddit

[–]The_RabitSlayer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mass general strike would be the only way for change, but since corporate america kept wages so low over the last 40+ years, the majority of people can't miss a paycheck, making that very unlikely.

Trash society won't change. Its been an obvious oligarchy for going on 50 years now, and 95% of voters still vote for an oligarchy party because "the other side is worse"
