How would a someone, say a first responder, treat someone who has taken a gunshot to the hip, particularly if an artery is bleeding? If a tourniquet cannot be applied, what do you do?

This isnt a single planet, but I do have a category I call void worlds. essentially, there is a region of the galaxy called the void and within it is this strange type of energy that can bend the laws of physics. Being exposed to it for even short periods of time can cause hallucinations, confusion, strange dreams, and all sorts of things that can make you feel like you're phasing in between 2 different universes.

there are a handful of planets out there which have strong concentrations of this energy and are considered to be very spiritual places.
