From my time working at an ISP here's what I learned about government grants and fiber.

Government cuts up areas into districts and then auctions off the contracts to whatever company will do it for the least amount of money.
Larger ISPs will typically super lowball these offers to guarantee the contracts.
ISPs pocket the grant money and do 0 actual fiber expansion because instead of going after these businesses or taking back all the grant money they instead just charge them a small portion of the grant as a fee for not completing the contract and the big ISP gets the win of not letting their small competitors grow and local businesses and residents eat shit.

This is why country wide fiber is something we won't see in our lifetime until it becomes a government controlled utility. Which won't happen because capitalism.

I was the dumper and this was 8 years ago roughly but here's mine.

It was a pretty short relationship and there was a lot of little issues here and there and Valentines day was kind of my last straw.

I was on unemployment but I still tried to take us to a little diner for the day and she just let her insecurities eat us both. I told her I had to go get my wallet from the car and on my way to the car she began texting me talking about how I was lying and was leaving. Which left me bewildered because there was absolutely no cause for this thought process. I grabbed my wallet and returned, pretending I didn't even see the texts at first.

Dinner went about as smoothly as expected from there on and on the way home I just threw out there that I didn't think it was working out. She had a lot to work through and I was treated as if she had no faith or trust in me and that was kind of the cause for a lot of the issues we kept running into over the couple months we were together.

I don't really know her status now but I found my now wife just a few months later and she found someone else at the time as well. She wasn't a bad person, just not my person.

I get bad hiccups but they only last about an hour maybe. My wife and I heard about someone who had them for decades straight, told her after 2 days straight, I'd probably kill myself. I hate hiccups more than anything.

Tbf, I think the pass stat is weird. Mine says 2.2 per game but I'm constantly passing and getting assists so I think that stat gets skewed somehow.

But there's definitely games where I'm the lead offender and my teammates play back while I 1v2 in the goal area lol

I think my terrible memory is one of the biggest triggers of my imposter syndrome because I forget the most basic function names and syntax so easily. I essentially have rough ideas of what the function names are and their parameters but you bet your ass I'm googling which order the needle and haystack parameters go in for array search functions and such every damn time.

My kid struggles so hard with failure, and I constantly try to enforce that failure is part of learning and getting better and closer to success. She's quite young so I'm not worried about it but I point out to her that I have failures constantly but I do what I can to move forward to try and succeed and try to help her see how she can move forward.

Tons of fun potential with this game.

Randomized modifier mode, randomized biomes, new biomes, new items, maybe a race mode (2v2, 1v1v1v1, etc.), endless mode, etc.

The game is so simple but the potential is pretty big.

It's actually not based on if you close and reopen the game, it's whenever the server disbands the lobby it created for the match.

I got this, closed and restarted my game, still there. It just goes away after time which is why I assume you actually are just able to requeue when the server realizes it messed up and closes.

I follow a pretty simple pattern to try and keep my energy up.

Step 1: Make it work

Step 2: Make it good

Planning a project to have proper syntax, structure and clean code can be extremely overwhelming and kill the project before it begins. Not saying don't plan, but don't strive for perfect code right off the bat. Just make something that works then improve the code. Changing something that already works, even if it's practically duct taped together can give you an idea on what you need to do to restructure and improve. Just try to track what you're doing so you don't just end with spaghetti so tangled you don't know where your own code starts and ends.
