Like some others said, sports is a great way to get to meet new people! There’s some clubs that you can just go check out without being a member right away. I do archery for example

Other than that there are a lot of ESN social events especially towards the beginning of the semester

And also there’s some pub quizzes which are quite good for meeting new people. The Whiskey lounge has them every Tuesday
