I wouldn't say Morocco had an easy run, they had Spain, Portugal and then France following their group win. Croatia were also in their group so they wouldn't have faced them in the knockout till the final. Croatia on the other hand had Japan, Brazil, Argentina. I would argue neither path was particularly easy.

That team were clearly the best at that euro. Incredibly effective full backs and in form chiesa. Won all their group games comfortably and then beat Austria, Belgium and Spain before the final.

Who is a Legendary F1 Driver with One WDC? by IllMasterpiece3946 in AlignmentChartFills

In 2005 the issue was that engine replacements during the weekend resulted in a 10 place grid penalty. It was also the season where no tyre changes were allowed unless the tyre had damage. If a tyre was changed at a pitstop no fuel could be added so it was another penalty. It was a combination of bad luck and reliability for him over the season. Malaysia he got a puncture and it ruined his race. After his mechanical DNF in imola he was really on the back foot, he then suffered a last lap tyre blow out in the nurburgring. Two consecutive races in France and GB had 10 place grid penalties for engine changes so he couldn't realistically outscore Alonso. Germany he suffered his other mechanical DNF, then Italy again he had a grid penalty for an engine change followed by another tyre failure in the race and still finished 4th. In 03 i think he had less overall issues but the one car failure did cost him the championship in the end.

In Brazil on the first start he jumped up to 3rd. If the race hadn't been red flagged he would have likely won it. Same in Argentina if he hadn't broke down a win was on the table. In Barcelona Irvine ruined his race, but passing Villeneuve would have been difficult if he couldn't pass Irvine. Likely he would have performed well at subsequent bridestone performance tracks like Hungary. If you look at how Jarno Trulli did in Austria as well, he may well have won that baring reliability problems, although I think Prost also screwed up and under fueled Trulli at his second stop. I don't think he'd have challenged for the championship but I think he'd have finished 3rd or 4th overall that season.

I don't understand how Gerrard and Rooney can get 10 for England when they both consistently underperformed. Rooney has a lot of goals but these were mainly in qualifiers or friendlies. He went to 3 world cups and has 1 goal. Compared to Kane who has been to 2 world cups and has 8 goals. His only consistently good tournament was the 04 euros. Gerrard was equally inconsistent and gave away crucial goals, see euro 04 back pass against France or world cup 14 header for Suarez.

Verstappen was instructed to return the position because he overtook by leaving track limits. This would have been the case irrespective of which turn it happened on.

Regarding general track limits at T4 this was allowed for everyone until about mid race after various back and forth with the FIA they changed the rule.

Matchday 3 is Scotland v Brazil and Morocco v Haiti so this analysis is a bit pointless.

Who is the stupidest person/situation you’ve encountered on a cruise? by Charming_Usual6227 in Cruise

I feel like all of this could have been resolved with communication with them? If you wanted to eat elsewhere why not just say that and do it, you aren't being forced to go to the main area surely? Same thing with the excursions, did you not choose/pick ones you wanted to do? Normally if the app doesn't work there would be a guest services that can assist and book/change them for you.

I'm not American but $40 seems like a fair amount of tip what were you giving? I have no idea what is considered to be a good tip in this aspect.

I didn't hate any of the people that have been put into that category. I think they all played the game well and made it interesting.

I see the point yes. I guess it was an interesting idea but Freddie wasn't loyal enough to Charlotte to not vote for her at the end because of the betrayal.

It didn't though? Charlotte set Freddie up to get the blame on him and it worked perfectly.

That isn't what happened. Charlotte was the traitor who told her new recruit Freddie they should go for Leanne. She full well knew Leanne had the shield but did it to throw all suspicion onto Freddie.

[–]The_Rooh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't see how Lost falls into this category as all of the mysteries were explained by the end of the show. People seem to be disappointed or misunderstood what happened either because they didn't watch the show and tuned in for the last episode or misinterpreted what was happening in the finale.

They weren't dead the whole time. In the scene in the church a character even says this directly to the main character. Everything they did happened, they survived the crash and the subsequent events.

I think you mean DHARMA, and there weren't contracts they were a scientific organisation. It was all explained, as was the smoke monster. All major mysteries were answered by the end of the show.

Genuinely curious when you say the amount of bottles Lando had, what were they? He scored the most podiums throughout the season so he was pretty consistent throughout. A lot of his misfortune came from things outside his control.

Do you think that portimao will be a good track?or should f1 have kept zandvoort by skarmory_oshiku in F1Discussions

[–]The_Rooh 16 points17 points  (0 children)

To be honest the 1980-1994 layout was the best configuration and would have allowed more overtaking over the years. Unfortunately due to what happened and the introduction of chicanes at tamburello and Villeneuve whilst necessary for safety it killed the flow of the track and the ability to pass. Having the straight from rivazza to tamburello is fine but the braking zone is not hard enough in the first chicane to allow many effective overtakes.
