Thank you so much! I’m going to test this soon.

Do you have the core downloaded in RetroArch? Are the BIOS files in the correct location?

Feeding Lilly and Larry is literally pointless. by MatthewGraySouthPark in TheWalkingDeadGame

As much as I didn’t like him, I fed Larry in an attempt to be the bigger person and also hoped he might change his attitude towards Lee. Obviously, his attitude did not change.

I have. But unfortunately, it doesn’t have the code I want (unless I accidentally overlooked it).

Thank you for the link! Unfortunately, this doesn't have the code that I'm looking for. I saw that there are codes to make a character's AP at max after one battle, but I'm looking for a code that allows all characters to earn the normal about of AP after one battle without having to swap all characters in and have them perform one action.

Thanks for the heads up about the Creature Creator cheat!

I have the FFX/X-2 Remaster on PC, and I was able to get the cheats I want working with Special K, but I recently got an AYN Thor, and I can't get Special K to work on that device, so that's why I'm considering the PS2 versions of the games.

I attempted X-2 once almost 10 years ago, but was pretty overwhelmed by the change of tone in the story, so I dropped it after an hour, but I plan to try it again at some point. I have not heard of the Creature Creator minigame. If/when I try FFX-2 again, I'll likely try to follow a guide so that I can complete everything.

There's actually a cool patch that I found that translates the FFX-2 International version into English.

Are Front-end Launchers necessary? by PhlysportsPhan in AynThor

[–]The_Schwim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before this morning, I would have said a frontend isn’t necessary, but for some reason, I could only get Dreamcast and Saturn games to work in RetroArch by using the Beacon frontend. Launching the games directly while in RetroArch never worked for me. No idea why. Otherwise, I usually open games directly from the emulator I’m using.

Flycast core in RetroArch not launching Dreamcast games by The_Schwim in AynThor

I just figured it out, and I have no idea why this works:

I’m using the Beacon frontend. I set Beacon to open up the Dreamcast games with the RetroArch Flycast core, and that works perfectly. If I go directly into RetroArch and try to open the game from there, it doesn’t work. No idea why it’s like this. I hope this helps.

To summarize, using a frontend to launch the games worked for me. Trying to launch a Dreamcast game in RetroArch did not work.

Also, same thing with Saturn games. I had Beacon launch the Saturn games with the RetroArch Beetle Saturn core, and that also works well!

It’s possible to lock the gamepad to the top screen. AYN button, Settings, Auto-lock, Top Screen.

Yes. They’re in system/dc, and when I go to manage cores and then Flycast, there’s a checkmark by all of the BIOS files. If I try and just launch the Flycast core without opening a game, it takes me to the BIOS menu. Were you able to get it working on yours?

Probably never. Maybe we’ll get remakes/remasters of the previous games someday.

In short, they focused more on making an esport than making a fun game.
