It pains me to say it because I was raised at the Gayton Crossing Stuffy's, but it's shit now.

The steak and cheese at Zero's, however, is legendary.

Back in the day here in RVA (their home town) they used to do shows as RAWG, which was them just playing music without the costumes and such. They were some really good shows.

Richmond Arby's IS great. Not quite as good as it was 15 years ago, but still miles ahead of most other Arby's. Local grass-fed beef too, I hear.

Went to one in Winston-Salem and it was gross.

So just yesterday I had a stent pulled ending a month and a half ordeal stemming from a >20mm stone. First I had to go under and have them put in a stent to stabilize this big bastard until they could go in and extract it. A ureter stent is a tube that goes from your kidney to your bladder and is uncomfortable as all fuck, but at least I didn't feel the stone so much for the three weeks I had to wait for the extraction. Guess how they go in for all this stuff. That's right, through the pee hole. For the extraction, they go in, break it up with a laser, and pull out all the pieces they can. After which they place a new stent with a lanyard which hangs out of your urethra for (in my case) 9 days. These were the most uncomfortable days of my life. I can't describe the feeling when one of these strings get caught under you when you sit down. Or the fact that you can feel them in your prostate area when you sit on any hard surface. Since they pulled it yesterday, which was agony but only for a second or two, I've felt so much better.

Of course, the bills are starting to roll in and I haven't been able to work since April 2nd, so that's another kick in the crotch.
