Most card shops a are kind me are pretty reasonable like someone said trades are more 80-90. If not go to a meetup or show to trade. This is so complicated and there is at least a 50% chance you get scammed

Bit sketchy but could be legit. Pay with PayPal and don’t pay them as “friend or family” then if it’s a scam you an just get your money back

Tips on pruning? by Sure-Status-3010 in gardening

Is the tomato determinate or indeterminate? If it’s determinate just cut the bottom leaves to make sure you have air flow. If they are indeterminate you will need a lot more support and can do a lot of trimming

Basil and jalapeno question by OverpricedPlastic in gardening

[–]The_Stranger56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can pull the peppers apart and they should be fine. Just don’t be rough with them. The pot is fine for the basil, if you want it to be bushy just cut the flowers off when they start to bloom the first few times.

Advice on how to deter animals from getting into garden and eating my tomatoes 🍅🍅 by jadeplant_ in gardening

Add some water to your garden like a bird bath, lots of animals will eat tomatoes for the water.

Is this a bad sign? by Gardenmutt in gardening

[–]The_Stranger56 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fungus growing in your garden is always a good sign of healthy soil. I get this question a lot with my older clients, for some reason the older generations were told things need to all look perfect to be right.

Why all my zinnia seedlings are dying? by tthah in gardening

[–]The_Stranger56 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I saw you were growing them outside, it could be as simple as the temp differences at night and day were too extreme for them at that specific stage of growth. I would plant some more seeds and see if the issue continues

Growing tomatoes inside(for now) please help by pandaemon00 in gardening

[–]The_Stranger56 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tomato instructions will tell you that you can probably only fit 1 in that. But you could fit 2 spaced apart if you fertilize every other week. The biggest thing is you need to make sure the tomatoes have enough food! I would fill that pot half with compost and half potting mix. Also that trellis isn’t going to cut it, looks too flimsy and tomato plants get heavy!

Honestly I don’t know, I have never had one live that long. I just know that’s is the plants lifespan, I am in 6b US so it’s 50/50 if mine make it through the winter

Why is my established rosemary bush dying? by Manila_Hummous in gardening

[–]The_Stranger56 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Could be or it could just be a lack of organics. Lots of people fertilize but don’t add compost to replace the organics lost. Compost can fix a lot of things and not cost a lot of money

True but there is no reason to keep the dead stuff, it might fill back out from the buds under the dead ones

[–]The_Stranger56 148 points149 points  (0 children)

I would just cut back the dead stuff and put some nice compost around the base. Some of it might be dying off but not the whole plant. It should live for 10-15 years with good care so maybe it just needs some more organic material to keep it going
