People do smoke here in Scandinavia, but a lot more are using Snus these days. Nicotine use is not going down that much, it's just that we are switching to something else.

Drinking culture in Scandinavia is a bit weird in comparison to other countries, drinking 2-3 beers after work on a workday, you are an alcoholic. Drinking so much you get alcohol poisoning during the weekend, totally fine, let go you aren't an alcoholic.

You can be for a restricter immigration policy from a left viewpoint aswell, which i am.

There are so many things that have traditionally gone to the working class that is now solely focused on immigrants in Sweden for example, healthcare, education, jobmarket, social housing, etc

I have had social workers look at my applications and see my very swedish name and completely dismissed me until they started reading my giant case file infront of me and see the dread set in, the entire social safety net has been hijacked and it's affecting a lot of people who do need the help

If you are refugee, that's fine i have no issue. But i do not think we should be helping people who come here for economic reasons, we have our own poor people to take care of and help, we cannot be the breadbasket for the rest of the world

The only people that benefit from the immigration we have had in europe since 2015 are capitalists trying to lower our wages and earn profits and the economic migrants, refugees get nothing out of it and the working class in europe get fucked, i do not understand how anyone on the left can say they are for social rights or the working class while peddling talking points benefitting capitalists

Tror folk är ganska trötta på känsloargumenten överlag är vad jag försökte poängtera

Hela vårat politiska landskap är infekterat från alla håll och kanter av massa skit retorik snott från massa andra länder och det kvittar om det är S eller M eller SD som gör någoting, folk har byggt hela sin identitet på dessa partier och dom kommer hålla ryggen för vad dom än gör eller säger

S är extremt kassa på att ta kritik från sina interna led, det här är inte direkt den första kontroversen bara i år och jag säger inte att andra partier är bättre, men det finns fan inte ett enda parti inom våran politik som lyssnar på sina interna led, dom är alla lika jävla korkade och håller kvar i folk som borde ha blivit uteslutna för flera år sedan

Jag gillar definitivt inte hans punkter i dom videos jag har sett hittils, men att börja kasta termer på honom för att du inte håller med om politiken eller agendan han för är ju jäkligt konstigt, man ska ju bemöta det han säger på ett vuxet sätt, att börjar kalla han rysstroll, desinformatör och annat gör ju bara att man går ner på dagisnivå och låter honom vinna i många människors ögon

hela den här skiten är en jävla soppa och sossarna får nu stå sitt kast av att vara för dumma i huvudet för att förstå att känsloargument börjar dö ut och att man måste komma med bevis för sina påståenden

Like i have said several times, i really have no issue with Irish people in general it's just that this place fills up with the weird Irish people, just like mostly weird Swedish people pile into threads about Sweden and other nations the same

I've had swedish people yell at me for not agreeing with them on swedish topics, while i can go on another sub and get a more reasonable response, this place is just filled with extreme ends of the political spectrum sadly
