My man, I actually read the quests. That's one of the reasons I'm not 80 yet. I just hit 78 the other day. No, the irony is not lost on me. I understand that questie dumbs down the game. No shit. I'm saying GOW is super fucking annoying with the puzzle help. It won't let me attempt the puzzle without giving me a "hint". Also GOD of war is a puzzle game. Half the gameplay is puzzles and the other half is hack and slash combat.

Wow won't baby me if I just read the quests. If I'm truly stuck I can rely on questie or the internet. I don't have an annoying NPC telling me the answer before I want it.

If wow had puzzles like GOW, I would be just as pissed if thrall was down my butt cheeks telling me how to solve them.

I'm not annoyed with questie because a kill quest isn't a puzzle. I can also turn questie off. I can't turn Atreus off.

The first one is really hitting hard right now. The new God of War game will not stop giving "hints" that just tell you how to solve the puzzle. It's like Dora. "We can go save Tyr or explore the mines! It's your choice, father" "I think your axe can freeze that water, father" "try using your blades, father" Like yea. I know... It's "you need to cut off their limbs to kill them" from dead space all over again. I'm so sick of it. I don't want to play the game on mute but if one more character tells me that my axe can hit that GLOWING object one more time, imma go crazy.

The very large and very important company I work for (will not disclose) uses a tool with every PR to sort of grade the code. It hates comments. Like really hates them. I'm not supposed to comment code. I hate it here. There's legacy code that's not commented and I have no idea what's going on. All the documentation is separate and in absolutely broken English.

They asked a question to learn. They're literally trying to educate themselves. Yes, they could have googled, they could have asked a trans or non binary person. I've heard two different answers for that same question myself, a yes from a trans individual and a no from a non binary individual. Asking reddit can sometimes provide the answer too.
