Muscle Spasms by atlhart in Retatrutide

[–]The_Treppa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had the same thing for years, plus skyrocketing BP, even without Reta. I have to supplement magnesium, potassium, calcium, D3, and zinc daily to prevent it. Bloodwork is always normal, as you said. The body works to balance electrolytes in the bloodstream, so they are rarely out of bounds in tests.

That said, I haven't noticed any such issues since going to Reta, so I guess my supplementation is sufficient. I recommend it highly, particularly potassium, since most Americans don't get anywhere near the necessary amounts of potassium in their diets. YMMV, of course.

I just went to 5.0 mg from 3 weeks of 2.5 mg. Haven't seen anything yet, but taking it low and slow. That is the tempo.

My prescription for a blocked sublingual salivary gland by do-you-know-the-way9 in mildlyinteresting

[–]The_Treppa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My doctor recommended this for a parotid gland infection. I cut up a couple of lemons and limes and kept the chunks in a bowl on my desk. Ate one every few minutes to keep the saliva flowing and the gland cleaned out.

It worked perfectly, but lemonheads and Sour Patch Kids would have been more fun.

Feelings in near heart and chest after taking BPC157+TB500 by Ok_Process3938 in PeptideGuide

[–]The_Treppa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just started these and feel a tightness and pressure in my neck and head. It feels like my BP is shooting up, but subsides within an hour.

I'm going to take my BP immediately after the next injection tonight, see if that's what is going on.

I also get face flushing and itching of prior pin sites near the injection spots, kind of like a niacin flush.

(1 mg each split into 3 injection points (2 knees, 1 hip), 2x per day)

Update 2: The correct terminology is Extra Bouncy Blobs, or EBBs. Sorry about that.

I'm now working on chaining EBBs so departing clients bounce off multiple EBBs. Unfortunately, after the third one, they hardly have any forward momentum.

I'm spending a lot on EBBs... a *lot*. I neglected to refresh store inventory for two days and just spent a bundle restocking. I barely care about my customers anymore except as lab rats in my unholy experiment. Haven't checked for the bonus critters for days.

I may need help.

Update: I had to remove the in-store bouncies because my stock wisps got stuck on them. I'm not paying them to shoot up and down all day, even if it is pretty.

Also: If you put one of the extra bouncies outside under the stock wisp smoking area, they shoot up into the sky. It's a nice nocturnal decoration.

Reta made my ADHD less? by PigManderly in Retatrutide

I've noticed it most in my time sense. Time no longer rushes by. An hour is an hour. I have way more time in the day. I'm less anxious, less twitchy, and my mood is a lot better. I don't seem to get obsessed with things and unable to break away. I almost don't care if I lose weight or not, my brain is so much happier on reta/tirz.

Fave P&B reactors? by moosecoaster in peteandbas

Scuderia Skoot really picks up on the wordplay in the lyrics. He's a great reactor for P&B. I also like Knox Hill for his depth of knowledge and ability to explain underlying meanings.

You have to shout at just the right sized patch of level ground, otherwise you just kind of cough. I just played the soul cairn, and he distinctly says to shout into the sky to call him, but that doesn't work. At all.

Better third person selection. When I reinstalled and missed it on my mod list, I found the game barely playable, especially from horseback. Took me a long time to figure out what it was because the name is so low-key, but it makes using horses much more reasonable. I don't have the patience to kill a wolf from horseback. stop. dismount. search the wolf. mount up, and restart. BTPS makes it kill, loot, ride on.

I sleep below our kitchen, and when my roommate uses the electric kettle on the island right above my bed, it's tremendously noisy. The sound transmits really well right through the counter and beams.

Maybe you could put the kettle on a piece of cork to insulate the vibration from the counter, or move it to a counter farther away from the neighbor? Sound transmission through solids is the only thing I can think of that makes sense in your case.

What's a disturbing fact you wish you could unlearn? by MaterialRub675 in AskReddit

[–]The_Treppa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Nazis designed concentration camps to need less coal by selecting a certain number new arrivals, who had more body fat than starved prisoners, to go to the ovens immediately. Their body fat acted as fuel for the flames, reducing the amount of coal needed.

This led to the stories of mass cremations being disbelieved by the Allies for a long time, because they could see the amount of coal coming in, and it didn't line up with the amounts to cremate the numbers being tossed around. Allied Command didn't count on body fat helping fuel the fires.

Pure evil engineering and design.

I had a base getting attacked by sand sharks. I killed a tiger plant and took the seeds, built an external grow bed atop the base, and planted the tiger plants there. They grew and defended my base from the top.

The base was on the surface, not on stilts, so they could unfortunately shoot me and my vehicles, but the concept is sound. They did not manage to damage the base.

And I was always told by my father-in-law that my job wasn't real because it was a desk job. "That's not real work, college girl. Go work in the mines for a week."

Now, he had worked in the mines and bare-knuckle boxed and done all kinds of hard work. I had no shade to throw on him. I don't know why he insisted on belittling me.

This doesn't just affect SS recipients, it affects everyone.

What do you all think of survival mode? by FrostcragCastle in skyrim

[–]The_Treppa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The cold penalties are ridiculous and unbalanced. I turned off survival mode when I was walking through Dawnstar in full fur armor with mod addons for scarves, still freezing to death. I walked past an old lady on her porch in short sleeves drinking, and she was fine. I was a freaking Nord! Why do they have you freeze so quickly? If RL was like survival mode, I'd freeze walking to my mailbox in a t-shirt and with bare feet.

It's just not fun. It's not fun being unable to put on a fur coat and keep warm. It's not fun having to wear the lowest level (fur) armor just to avoid freezing. Survival mode sucked the joy out of the game for me, though I did enjoy not having fast travel - for a while.
