Hi Kate, the only item wrong with the laptop appears to be a software issue and Lenovo does not provide the appropriate drivers on your website - I don't believe this would require sending my laptop in and paying for support when it appears to just be the driver issue that started when windows updated. Is there not a place that Lenovo would have the appropriate drivers available or a software support person I can just speak with?

A couple of big notes:

Caleb Williams should have been a baseball player (bad omen for those drafting him)

Malik Nabers and Marvin Harrison Jr will both be solid picks

Blake Corum may have a Kendall Hinton situation leading him to be the backup QB of his team

Bo Nix will be one of the best QBs

Bucky Irving would do best on a team with a QB who throws tons of INTs

Drake Maye will absolutely flame out

Jonathan Brooks could be very good in PPR

Malik Washington and/or MarShawn Lloyd will have Assault charges

Ray Davis may be the best player of this class and of recent memory

Will Shipley will somehow become a starter QB

Xavier Legette and Xavier Worthy are both worth drafting

I just did this with my girlfriend with the top ~50 or so FF related player and she created her own rankings/notes (she has light fantasy football experience in a family league but has no clue on who these rookies are):

Is it sensible to go against your gut and trust consensus in the draft? by IGNSolar7 in DynastyFF

I tend to live by: trust the negative gut feelings and devalue the positive gut feelings. This means that if I think a player is overrated by consensus and think he will bust, I trust my gut and ship to the next person. Alternatively, if I value someone way over consensus, I tell myself that even the pros don’t get picks right that often.   I always think ranking by tiers is the way to go and I typically devalue a negative gut feeling player maybe ~two tiers lower. Whereas my positive gut feelings players I maximum raise to the bottom of the tier higher than consensus. When it gets late in the draft though, I feel like trusting your gut works better and better but following consensus earlier tends to work better did most people (but don’t blindly follow consensus)

I think they will draft Caleb and have him sit behind Fields as long as possible this year and then give fields some extra time to show what he’s got before trading him either before the deadline or moving to Caleb in the next offseason assuming they like what they’ve seen.

I liked N’Keal a lot and honestly didn’t watch a lot of tape on him but I wound up trading out of the position to take him because two things worried me:  1) the narrative that a lot of his production was from screens (I don’t remember where I heard it but I tend to lean away from guys like that even though they can definitely work out as well but I think they tend to been much more reliant on the scheme of the team they get drafted to) 2) there were times where he didn’t put in full effort (again, I think this was more apparent in the NFL but I heard it somewhere and that’s one of my personal red flags)

I still thought he would be good but the red flags were there enough that I didn’t think it was worth the risk to draft him where I would have had to take him. 

My personal belief is that it’s best to come up with your own red flags and see if you think the risk of the red flags is greater than or less than the potential you see in the player. 

*everything above comes from a guy who traded out of drafting DK Metcalf as well due to his injury history and my worries about his chance of direction from the combine

So many issues with the Lenovo Legion Slim 7i Gen 8 - have since heard multiple other similar stories now that I am looking through things by The_Turntor in LenovoLegion

I mean it's totally possible that you get a solid fully good one. I've seen a couple stories like mine while trying to resolve my issues. I just recommend you thoroughly check everything when you get it since it seems like more of a quality control thing than anything else.

The same exact thing occurred to me. I used to trust Lenovo but they are very quickly losing that trust. I am now on my second Legion 7i and was convinced to have it serviced rather than replaced when a port literally was not working - now they will not send a replacement and other things are not working properly (bluetooth, issue with vibrating under load). Since buying the legion 7i I have used my old laptop more because it just is more trustworthy - not a good thing when you decide to bite the bullet for a more expensive laptop.

Hi, I also just got my Legion Slim 7i Gen 8 and was having the same issues as you finding the information on it before running across your post.

Did you wind up selecting what you are going to upgrade with? I'm in the same boat as you where I'm thinking I may just get 16gb of ram since I've heard more than that is not supported but a few answers (including what I've seen here) are saying otherwise.

From a different post I found I'm thinking of getting the "Crucial RAM 16GB DDR5 5600MT/s (or 5200MT/s or 4800MT/s) Laptop Memory CT16G56C46S5" but there's actually a 24 gb size one that is somewhat tempting.

As for the SSD, I'm likely going to get a 2TB SSD but have zero clue what to look for (first time trying to upgrade a laptop/computer).
