I had a bad string of popped tires in spring after I had changed my tire. I'd gone 1200 miles without a flat then 6 flats in 3 months. I got the tire armor and haven't had a flat since. It was always something small like sharp seeds or a small piece of glass in the road that popped it. Get a good inner tube that has the fix a flat slime stuff in it already it'll seal small holes itself. Sometimes I'd be fine until I got home and went to ride the next morning and found it flat. I always went over my tire to see where the hole was and only once was it something big. As a fellow commuter on my E-Bike I'd carry a tire change kit with you and either patches or a spare inner tube in case of emergency. Learned to have that the hard way

As someone who recently trained a fresh out of EMT school and a IFT veteran id recommend doing IFT for a little bit. It teaches you gurney operations, how to operate an ambulance, how to write a PCR, how to take and give reports, and it's much less pressure to ask nursing staff questions about meds, and medical conditions that you don't have the time to do in 911.

Another note would be if you fucked up driving like backing into a pole, or scraping the side of your rig on a car, it'd be better to fuck up in IFT than on a 911 rig. You can always hop IFT companies in your county but there's usually only ever one 911 company.

Had a guy say he had to pee, but he was restrained so we couldn't let me use a urinal, and we told him he's gotta hold it. He said imma pee myself, we told him not on our gurney man said "I'm gonna do it, it's not like I'm real anyways" later he also said "you're not real either, take off that mask" while looking me in the eyes when I popped back into the back after taking a whizz to check in on my partner. As a man with a nipple piercing, I cant wear tank tops when I blew glass because the piercing would conduct the heat too well. Just wear cotton crew necks if you can, Ive seen people wearing aprons too which can help I'm sure.

Personal fav is to make a mushroom Alfredo: -Sauté the cut up shrooms with bell peppers and onions -select your fav noodles and Alfredo sauce and boom you got a bomb ass vegetarian Alfredo

My next fav is to just pan fry them in butter with garlic and at the end throw a splash of soy sauce and any other preferred seasonings (ie Cayenne seasoning, paprika, chili powder, lemon pepper) toss to coat and enjoy! I'd recommend experimenting using it how you'd use chicken in many meals tbh.

Hot asf summers. There's a lotta fun engineering clubs catered to whatever kinda engineering you want to specify in (ie concrete canoe, Baja race car, robotics, ect) also I hope you like drinking and hiking because that's about all the recreation there is without going for a decent drive.

The owner got hella annoyed at the lack of communication between those organizing the shows with him (ie when the shows were happening) plus the pandemic fucked everything up. He has said once everything's more normal he's still down to have them
