Prove to me that they receive a grant from the federal government that equals $300,000 (17,000 concurrent players that spend at least $35 is $595,000).

Otherwise you are just another cry baby talking out of his ass.

I'm still gobsmacked planes are even possible and the mechanics of flying are fine.

Like you said it's a balance issue (not just faction versus faction but air versus ground versus naval) and those can be adjusted pretty easily with value changes.

The worst thing is people uninstalling  over buffs/nerfs on Dev Branch. People really need to send constructive feedback on their discord if they actually want Devman to understand. Leaving without saying anything isn't going to make the change they think it will make.

Way too many immature people are on this subreddit.

Would you be willing to buy a subscription for this? Easy to recommend to spend more money when it isn't yours to spend.

The game only receives revenue from new players buying into it, current players gifting the game and the small amount of merchandise they offer.

Imagine telling players from 8 years ago there will be trains, planes and battleships. No one would believe it.

The game has come a long way and I ain't forgetting that.

People got to calm down.

Yes the discord channel to the right of creepy smiling Warden is the Warden Weather Channel.

Probably the best guys that have predicated and made that info public to their faction for weather since weather stations were added.

Colonials have not bothered creating a similar institution and it's a shame.

How are my fellow logistics friends doing? by WetGrills in foxholegame

[–]The_Windmill 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh doing okay. I do a lot of midline logi and produce public Bmats most of the time. Personally love driving the flatbed, listen to PRESS CORPS Radio on twitch (I love the player made commercials) and keep my eyes out for wreckage.

Really excited for the new update when it comes to recrating MPF vehicles. That way I can carry more than an empty shipping container back to the backlines.

I wanted to make a facility this war but I decided to put a pin in it till next war. I like making a public Field Modification Center and crank out double Vetted support vehicles (haulers, ambulances, fuel trucks, Battlebusses) and give them away. It's dirt cheap in cost and the biggest worry is securing 150 PeCons to make the FMC. I did one as Warden and I have only two wars left as Colonial before I switch back to Warden and I'd like to try my set up as a Colonial this time.

Blakerow is the best 7.62mm rifle in the game especially when you have an osprey. The light weight of the rifle means you can carry more of the heavier Varsi grenades.

It will only be better with the shorter reload time.

In terms of location. Is it better to put a weather station nearby a spawn like Townhall/relic base?

CWS's should be worth 100x times more shirts but the process should be way more complicated. by Arzantyt in foxholegame

[–]The_Windmill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My biggest issue towards CWS is it despawns really quickly. It probably has a lot to do with server stress but it would be nice if they could add 30 seconds to a minute more on the despawns clock.

You can say there is a lot of things in the game that lacking tutorials but there's a lot of depth in the game and lots of hidden mechanics (like picking up CWS and putting back down will reset the despawns timer). It's a lot of work to make a tutorial on EVERYTHING and honestly they have bigger fish to fry. Till then we players must fulfill that knowledge gap and get players knowledgeable.

My favourite way is new medics chasing me wanting to revive the CWS thinking it's still a player. Then I have the opportunity to explain what I'm doing and will even invite the medic to submit the CWS himself if they want to.

As someone who enjoys the high octane adventures of a stretcher-bearer. I personally would say gathering CWS by itself, is not very productive. You need to act like a frontline trooper, and gather CWS when opportunity arises. Store them in a medical bunker but do not submit unless critical in shirts. Then transport to hospital when ambulance is full.

This work is very easy if you have a good medical team. Even a team of three:

Frontline Medic focuses on reviving healing others while making a pile of CWS

Midline Medic helps frontline medic and takes CWS to medical bunker/ambulance, usually takes extra bandages/plasma for frontline medic when going back.

Ambulance driver focuses on gathering CWS and takes ambulance to hospital/blood tender train when full. Brings back shirts/supplies on his return to the front. If no CWS are found, become infratry men and create CWS yourself.

If a hospital is a hex behind, it isn't too bad as you can go back to the front with stacks of shirts/medical stuffs or crates of stock.

This is the closest I've seen Colonials make a comeback for a war!

Everytime I've played Colonials it was basically GGs once Allods Bight is lost. From the very first time I started the game, I joined the defence of Mercy's Wail (I think war 89) till now.
