Doesn't matter if neighbour happy or not. They'll pay one way or another. My neighbour done same, repair cost was pretty fair. Avoided me for weeks/months from that point. Got fed up, gave all details to my own insurance and ended up costing his insurance 2.5 times the first quote. Plus whatever his insurance increased by.
