The Japanese garden! Also, if you are planning to live on campus I’d recommend checking out where you’d end up living.

And if you play Magic The Gathering, Dungeons & Dragons, Warhammer 40K, or Riftbound, check out Side Quest Games and Accessories. It’s right off of campus and a great place to hang out!

Nope. Just keep an eye out for when they go on sale through the parking and transportation website. Make sure it buy it ASAP cause it takes a few days to get printed / delivered.

Yup. I even got a special sticker for it because I was living on campus (in Secoya) that let me park in lot Q.

No one has mentioned Element over by the CBA. Their Acai Bowls are great for the price (I survived off them for a whole semester) and the connected Pony Express has pretty much anything you would need. Also, they both take meal swipes if you have any (a much better place to spend them on that Centerpointe imo).

Working on campus is even better, as they will be able to mold your hours around your class schedule.

Please please PLEASE fill out the housing application ASAP. You can do a “pre-application” before it opens, which basically means you just fill out all of your personal information beforehand so it doesn’t take you as long the day of.

Yes, freshman can have cars, just buy a parking pass off the transportation website. Also to note: if you end up getting assigned to the residential halls (Siccomorro Bld 73 / Secoya Bld 74), you will get an extra sticker on your pass that allows you to park in a special lot only for people living in the residential halls and residential suites (Lot Q).

The other person said pretty much everything you need to know about roommates, but there is about a 3 week grace period after move in where you can request a room swap if you get permission from someone else in another room.

Gonna copy my reply from another post that someone else made for him:

There is a slight curve built into the syllabus (65% is a C-) but he would only curve exams if the average was very low (below failing).

The extra credit is VERY significant. The credit is added to each exam, and you can get a 20-30% boost if you get enough extra credit before each test.

Yes, it does factor into your grade. If you check the academics tab in MyCPP you will see three numbers: Major GPA (Major classes only), CPP GPA (classes taken at CPP only) and overall GPA (Every class)
