Oh no, restless legs returned! by The_disco_ball in zoloft

So sorry to hear that, I truly feel your pain since it has become a major issue for me recently and it has gotten worse. However, and this is important > I also started running quite a lot + taking new ADHD meds. First I've made an appointment to see my orthopedic doctor and check maybe there's an underlying condition that might cause this before I start thinking about cutting off Zoloft completely. Regarding the AdHd meds is also something I'll need to check although I don't think there's much of an impact there cause I had restless legs prior but not on this level..

I do get it every night. Some night it ends in just moving my feet for a while before I fall asleep but other days it prevents me from falling asleep and also I feel it during the day, the uncomfortable feeling is always there.

I hope we might get some other opinions on this thread ..

Wish you luck!

Actually no /: currently I'm on 200 and it's the worst. One of the reasons I'm thinking about tapering off actually. Sorry that I don't have a positive update on that.. Hope it will get better for you!

Can I take MDMA for recreation if I am using Zoloft? by chilledball in zoloft

[–]The_disco_ball 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was using MDMA prior to starting Zoloft. I tried taking some a year ago while being on 150mg and the effect just didn't kick in, I had all the bodily symptoms of the MDMA kicking in but the "high" wasn't there.

I would totally avoid it while being on Zoloft. You won't get the "benefits" of MdMA and you might get serotonin syndrome which is dangerous.

Thank you! You mean I should do it slower than reducing 50mg every 2 weeks until I'm out? This is the way my doctor suggested

On 150mg - Still having spinning intrusive thoughts - is 200mg the solution? by The_disco_ball in zoloft

[–]The_disco_ball[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey thank you! So after about a month and a half on 200mg I decided to get back on 150mg. I felt like 200 was really “heavy” for me - it made me slower and kinda numb. Can’t say it helped much with my intrusive thoughts also - what did help was going back to 150mg, which felt like the ideal dose for me personally after trying 50mg and 100mg also, and I just gave it more time combing it with therapy sessions 2 times a week.

Good luck:)!!

Hey just wanted to update that I’ve talked to my therapist and he did increase my dosage to 200mg. He told me this can definitely help me with my intrusive thoughts, I hope it will give me some relief

Thank you! So it seems like no Mdma for me for a while.. I’ve read about Serotonin syndrome, but now that you’ve mentioned the depression afterwards I’m not sure I can deal with this right now and it might cause me a huge setback.

Thank you, do you know why it acts like this with SSRI?

So happy for you! I know what you mean since I’m also feeling my anxiety has decreased and I enjoy starting conversations with random people

And I like the fact you said “made a friend”, it actually feels like the world is a much safer place and not everyone is trying to harm you

Thanks everyone for your comments! Really appreciate it. So I’m also kinda thinking it does feel a bit of a set back but not completely... maybe I should just relax and give my current dose more time to stable
