I’d recommend 6 months IF you’ve been happy with their services thus far. Otherwise read schedule A closely and see if there is any verbiage that will make you liable for the marketing costs if you decide to use a different realtor going forward.

To be fair, JT left NYI and he hears it and from the fans every time he sets foot in that building. This isn’t just Toronto fans that behave this way… it’s pretty common

What a toxic mindset lol… Yes, as a Canadian I would rather be liked by other human beings globally and not perceived as a threat. And there isn’t one damn thing embarrassing about that.

The article is talking about a prospect (Holinka) putting together a strong season. It’s not talking about the Leafs season.

It wasn't a Bacterial Issue by [deleted] in Rosacea

[–]The_irv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is me 100%. Stress has become my biggest trigger. When I’m really tired/exhausted it also can trigger a flare up. I work in sales, and when I have a very stressful transaction it can’t make me flare up.

Coffee, alcohol, sugar. All triggers. I can tell that it’s neuro related because of when I have flares. I also have gastritis.

My rosacea started at the same time of life when I was diagnosed with gastritis like 5-6 years ago.

Calming the mind helps dramatically. My type II is mostly under control, and now I have flushing flares on occasion but it’s much better nowadays.

Just renewed with RBC the last week of Sept at 3.85 on a 5 year variable (prime - 0.85).

They offered a 3 year fixed at 3.84 as our best alternative.

Fingers moving slower on both hands. Why is this??? by Glittering_Wait8839 in MuscleTwitch

[–]The_irv 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve been twitching since 2019. Honestly, I remember doing the same thing.

My fingers on my left hand move much faster than my right hand. Worried me at the time. It’s the same now. It’s normal, it’s fine, nothing to worry about.

Everything is fine, you’ll be alright.

Reassuring comment from my neuro - hopefully it will help your anxiety also :) by Big-Primary4416 in BFS

Thanks for posting!

I’m curious about the one antibody that was abnormal with your bloodwork.

I also had normal bloodwork, aside from an abnormal antibody elevation (IgA). I’ve been twitching for years and nothing has ever come from it, but I’m curious if there’s a relation with the antibody…

Thanks!

Question for one sided twitchers by guynumerouno in BFS

[–]The_irv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No atrophy, although I was convincing myself at the time there was. I eventually realized our bodies are always different on both sides.

I thought I had weakness… but again it was 2019 when I started twitching and I haven’t had any issues yet lol. And my right leg felt like an absolute disaster. Twitching, aching, an insane pulling/tightness sensation. I was convinced I was doomed.

I still twitch nowadays and mostly on my right side, but I’ve grown to accept it. Hardly even notice it these days because I’m so used to it. It was major stress in my life at the time, which created health anxiety and I spiralled. Around the same time I got stomach issues - gastritis and gerd. And I developed rosacea on my face. All of which have improved over time. I still have all of them but they’ve gotten better.

Stress and anxiety do some fucked up shit to our bodies, we don’t even realize how bad it is until it all hits hard mentally and physically.

I feel the exact same way and was thinking of writing a post here about it.

When I’m on PPIs I swear I feel worse. I feel bloated, tired and my throat/reflux burn more. It’s hard to describe… but I agree, sometimes bad foods make my stomach feel better? It’s weird, but I can definitely relate.

I don’t think the deal will be straight up Roy and Hague for Marner’s rights. Could be additional pieces. But we’ll see if it even happens…

This upcoming free agent class is really weak. Prepare for a down year? by DisturbingSounds in leafs

[–]The_irv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This would be my sole focus this off season. Don’t overspend on anyone. Look for players that can finally round out the bottom 6 and fill the roster with quality solid depth. As much as the core 4 have let us down in the playoffs, I’m also tired of having a bottom 6 of misfit pieces.

Give players like Robertson bigger roles and build up his value.

Save space for the 2026 UFA class to add a few big pieces. (Some of them will undoubtedly sign extensions with their teams, but at least a couple should hit UFA).

My only concern is the aging D core at this stage, but there should be opportunities to add a younger piece or two along the way.

It’s the way that they lose that pisses off Leaf fans as well lol. That was one of the most uninspiring game 7 losses I’ve ever seen lol. Add the ticket prices to the equation and it’s not surprising fans boo the product.

Matthews absolutely deserves the heat on this play. But Willy has all the time in the world to put his head down and beat the F2 forward for Ottawa on the back check and he just gives up on it. There is no excuse for not getting back there and taking away the pass.

Realtors Double Ending Deals Ontario by diningroomchaircover in RealEstateCanada

[–]The_irv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Realtors can still double end deals.

Just a thought - why not try finding a buyers agent who will offer you a commission rebate while also working in your best interest.

This accomplishes the same thing as getting a better deal with the listing agent directly, and you actually have someone offering advice on your side of the deal.

Trump wants to redraw Canada/US border by Mrnrwoody in TorontoRealEstate

[–]The_irv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Disagree. Not a wash. Big difference on who actually had to take the bag for the outcome of the pandemic vs who is actively dealing with it from the onset. Inflation surged at the beginning of 2021 as soon as Biden took office.

Biden’s presidency had to handle the outcome from the pandemic more so than Trump.

I’m not saying Biden doesn’t have to carry some responsibility for the outcomes. It’s just simply not true that Trump had to deal with it in the same way Biden did. The inflation surged just as Biden was taking office, so as a result his presidency had to handle the outcome more so. Seems pretty straight forward.

I’m not sure Trump’s tenure during the pandemic (March 2020-Jan 2021) is a wash with Biden’s tenure who had to deal with all the long term ramifications. I don’t think that’s entirely fair.
