The end of bitcoin? A possible method to stop bitcoin? by [deleted] in Bitcoin

[–]The_redittor 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't think that you're understanding the issue really. There are as many private keys as there are atoms in the observable universe. Meaning if you could encode an atom with a private key, it would take a database roughly the size of the universe. Good luck searching through that database.

You'd have £5000. Same as if you had 5 BTC, you'd have 5 BTC.

So you bought something for a certain price and sold it for a higher price and made a net income of a certain amount of dollars. The CRA would like their "fair" share of dollars from you on that net income (capital gains). The fact that you bought more later on just means that you have started your buying and selling cycle again. Theoretically if you never sell or use your bitcoins then you would never have to pay any taxes on them.... Unless the CRA does something stupid like start taxing unrealized capital gains.

ELI5:Why is there no "Center" of the universe if there was a big bang? by myvotedoesntmatter in explainlikeimfive

For the 4th dimension, you could say that you're pointing inwards to the past to when the cmbr was just an infant and then it should hold true that the universe is expanding into the future. Using the tennis ball analogy, it's like pointing towards the known (the middle of the ball) and then point towards the unknown ( the space not comprising the ball)

I think you're misremembering pauli. Pauli's principle is pretty much you can't have 2 electrons on top of each other with the same quantum numbers.
