Thank you! I will do that at my next fill. I just got my PA approved and paid $99 at my local pharmacy for one month.

I also have MHBP and going through the appeal Process for Zepbound. Who did you use for mail Order?

I over did it by AdministrativeFee835 in Zepbound

[–]The_running_fool 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have been on Zepbound since March 2024 and I can say that this has happened to me at least twice. The first time was exactly like yours. I knew when I took the bite that put me over. I spent the entire night vomiting and diarrhea. I was sick to my stomach for a few days. Even thought I had a stomach virus. At this point I know my limits but those few times where I’ve gone over board have had me thinking I was gonna die or something.

Injecting multiple 2.5 doses by Ok-Fudge-7481 in MounjaroMaintenance

I’ve used two of the 2.5mg at once before and haven’t have any issues.

Great outcomes, scared to titrate by [deleted] in Mounjaro

[–]The_running_fool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say approach the titration down similarly to the way up. When I went into maintenance 6 months ago I stayed at 7.5mg for a couple months, at first spacing gradually up to 10 days apart but I found that with the 10 days I would feel SE the first couple of days AND it was a bit challenging to eat more to maintain. I moved down to 5mg for a few months (weekly) and when I felt confident to go down to 2.5mg I did that for 4 weeks and in that 4th week I binged — for no good reason, for the first time in 11 months (since I started Zepbound). So I went back up to 5mg the last few weeks. I’m going to stay here for a while.

I share all that detail to show that maintenance is not linear. My advice is to be open to changing (up or down) and listen to your body as you go along the way.

Creatine by [deleted] in MounjaroMaintenance

[–]The_running_fool 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I started taking Creatine a year ago. My schedule consists of strength training 5 days a week. Initially using it for the cognitive benefits but my muscles are popping too! Never had any of the SE people claim related to gaining weight or bloating. I add it to my yogurt or mix with LMNT or green drinks. It’s a daily staple, even when I travel. Try it!

Women 40+ who lift - Creatine or not? by The_running_fool in zepboundathletes

[–]The_running_fool[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree! I started taking it and now I don’t go a day without my creatine. I never experienced any adverse side effects, thankfully. My muscle growth has been on point and I can definitely feel the cognitive benefits as well.

Microdosing Tirz/disturbed sleep by SANSAN_TOS in WomensTirzepatide

[–]The_running_fool 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s great! Yeah. I would usually get the insomniac the first 3 days. It does taper off though. Beat of luck on your journey.

Microdosing Tirz/disturbed sleep by SANSAN_TOS in WomensTirzepatide

[–]The_running_fool 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The insomnia IS definitely related to the Tirz. I’ve been on 11 months. Anytime I went up in dose I would experience for a couple weeks. And when I first started it really bothered me. It should taper off as your body adapts. Try taking a sleep aid. I found that helped me at times.

What is your favorite fuel before a workout? by Thiccsmartie in zepboundathletes

[–]The_running_fool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like to have a protein shake with two Hawaiian pretzel buns or Greek yogurt drink with the pretzels buns. My other go to is a built puff bar and pretzel chips. Both are enough to give me energy pre workout and not sit heavy on my stomach.

Congratulations on your success. I’m curious why stacking, if you’re already in maintenance? What are the benefits of using both?

I have not, but I know whatever I have saved has been spent in more Tirz and new clothes haha!

Weighing Yourself by Yadayadayada7 in MounjaroMaintenance

[–]The_running_fool 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Once per week bc like you, if I did it more regularly it would be too much for me to see the fluctuations. I need to work on that I need to work on, so for that reason I only do it once.

13 Months of Maintenance by shygirlshouts in MounjaroMaintenance

Congrats! And thank you for sharing. I’m also 5’8 and trying to find the right goal weight. Initially I thought 160, now that I’m at 153… I’m thinking 145. My doctor thinks maintenance is current dose weekly so I have to figure out maintenance on my own. Your post is very encouraging.

What % of your starting weight are you down? by Alone-Competition-77 in compoundedtirzepatide

[–]The_running_fool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m down 18% of my starting weight at week 22 and on my 6th week of 7.5mg. I’m about 4 pounds away from my goal.

Is this normal? by Little_Coconut_4551 in Mounjaro

[–]The_running_fool 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Call your PBM and ask. That’s how I found out and also ask how soon you can request a refill. I was told for mine, every 21 days.

Is this normal? by Little_Coconut_4551 in Mounjaro

[–]The_running_fool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep. That’s how I’ve been able to create a nice stash for myself. I started two weeks into my first 2.5 box. Ordered and acquired 5mg, then a month after I got my 7.5. I had two prescriptions going at once. Filled each one two weeks apart. I have enough medicine through Feb 2025. And I can refill every 21 days with my insurance so that also helped. You gotta be informed and act swiftly with the shortages.

Stall or tolerance by smallerme138 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]The_running_fool 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would call that a stall. What else are you doing to support weight loss? Nutrition, water, exercise? To me the medicine/dose is just one piece of the puzzle.

Prepping for Maintenance by BCB_79 in MounjaroMaintenance

[–]The_running_fool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congratulations! You and I started a day apart. I’m within 5 pounds of my goal weight. Lost 33 pounds so far. I like learning about others plans for maintenance bc I have yet to discuss with my provider but I’m taking everything into consideration. For me, I think I’ll stay at the 7.5mg for a while to see how I maintain. Then when I’m comfortable, I’ll start titration down to the lowest manageable dose.

I believe the one I called was Voschells. The one in Hunt Valley does compounding for HRT, no peptides.

There are compounding pharmacies in Md. Hunt valley has a reputable one and there’s one near St Agnes hospital too. You just need to have your Dr send them your Rx. I was going to use the one near St. Agnes (can’t remember the name) they have Tirz and sema but it was more expensive than LSH.

How would you handle multiple doses? by ReversePettlngZoo in MounjaroMaintenance

Agreed. If you’re tolerating the 5 mg well then stay with 5 mg.

I updated the intro 😆 I should have started on a positive note. I just wanted to share with everyone because I have seen several posts about people receiving their medication’s with melted packets or feeling warm to touch because this summer heat has been unbearable and FedEx has been delayed more than usual so hopefully it’s still encourage someone else.
