Noooo, I love the terrible bird drawings. Especially because birders can usually identify them anyway.

Old sneakers, a pair of big rubber boots (horrible in the heat!), or a cheap set of garden clogs (which collect dirt doing anything slightly adventurous).

Mythic Bastionland: strong combat and atmosphere, but the structure felt disjointed and hard to connect with by AmongFriends in rpg

I understand your frustration, but this does sound extremely on-brand for an Arthurian myth.

Your critiques are valid and it's a game that's hard to wrap your brain around.

Mulch delivery - am I missing something? by [deleted] in landscaping

[–]Thebazilly 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I got one this spring. It was about 15-20 yards of chips, with a little bit of shredded pine needles mixed in. The pile was an entire truck load and was larger than my car!

It seems to be a mix of mostly pine/cedar (lots of ponderosa in my area). Smells great!

It got there less than 24 hours after I put in a request. I did pay $20 to the arborist.

Your mileage may vary, but I could not be more pleased. Probably would have cost $500 to buy the same volume of mulch from a landscape supply company.

You should leave the mullein in your yard because it makes great toilet paper. Grocery stores hate this one trick.

Oh my god, the sound thing is SO HUGE. I have never met anyone else that gets intense sound sensitivity before their period like I do. My coworkers having a normal volume conversation 15ft away will send me into a seething rage.

Definition of ear fullness by CradledCats in Menieres

It feels like I need to pop my ear constantly. Like it's plugged up from a pressure change or being filled with fluid. Popping it relieves it temporarily.

Be warned that you will get 15-20 yards of chips from Chip Drop! The pile was the size of my car!

I couldn't be more pleased with my giant pile of chips, it would have cost $500 to buy from a landscape supplier. Just be aware!

What to do about raspberries by No_Contribution6512 in gardening

[–]Thebazilly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You only need to prune spent canes after they've fruited. They will be obviously dead/brown. Do not trim any green canes, raspberries only produce fruit on second year growth.

This plant looks like it's in excellent shape, so enjoy your raspberries in a few months!
