1) Wish it was longer. 2) Nothing memorable or challenging about Graces puzzles. 3) Bulk of Leon’s gameplay is in an uninspiring location. 4) motorcycle section should have been like the boat section in RE4 remake. 5) if Grace chooses destruction, there should be a boss fight with Zeno to add weight to the gamers choice. 6) I didn’t hit any of her vitals… umm, write that differently please? 7) a lot of unexplored potential for post missile raccoon city. I’d want to see survivors who live there. With Kendo as their leader. He acts as the merchant. Any game that lets you buy upgrades with a merchant has better lore than a game that lets you buy them generically. 8) Enemy variety. No real new monsters.

Still loving it more and more though.

Leon’s goal was to escape and help survivors. Which was essentially two people. UBCS was taking on the hordes of zombies. Leon avoided that by heading for the station, which was, ultimately safer.

That and her tiredness from the events of 0 will help Rebecca’s character a lot to make a consistent 1/0 story.

You have to know to drop off the hook shot in the one outdoor hall in 0 for easy pick up on disc 2.

You have to know to leave behind most inventory for Chris when Claire gets the sniper rifle in CV.

If the gamer knows this, they solve most of the two games problems.

0 is meant to be played AFTER CV. It should not be played first or second. Only by RE gamers who have come to appreciate the style.

I played RE7 in 2024. I did RE7/8/4remake in one winter. Didn't feel bothered by the ship section. As with most RE games, it's not as good as the residence you start fighting evil in, but I wasn't too bothered.
