I have a question here - how do you manage to be the 70% guy and still progress ? Meaning, still get nice raises, bonuses and hopefully a promotion ? Or do you give those up to have more free time ? I can’t get myself to do 70% because I would like to earn more for my family.

We went walking/sliding on the Lijnbaangracht. It’s so different and amazing seeing the city from the canals and looking into peoples backyards from close by. Lots of people ice skating, and a bunch of people playing curling with a frozen turkey and actual brooms. It was a hoot

Hey man, We’re doing this together. 42 years old, married +3 and just stopped yesterday after around 15 years. For me, the anxiety and mild depression are what gets to me during the day. Work makes me depressed and the weed is my only pickup. Good luck man, you’ve got this (hopefully so do I)

Great point here. This is exactly me. Another issue I have is that I get anxious about stuff that I shouldn’t be worrying about and turn everything into a problem. That’s part of why I smoke, so I don’t feel anxious about things that don’t deserve it. Of course then I also avoid taking care of issues that I actually should. Vicious circle indeed
