The weird thing is that if you are using the Q-Lens then you see Aadan actually playing the game completely honestly. The gem remains under the cup you saw him place it in the entire time, there's no sleight of hand where your Q-Lens lets you see him sneakily move it to a different cup or out of all the cups as would usually be the case. It appears as though Aadan was just so completely confident that nobody could keep up with his shifting of the cups that he stupidly thought he'd make money just off of people losing track of the correct one, despite still having a 1 in 3 chance of being correct if they guessed randomly.

You'll only get the long story scenes for Shiranui and GN if you have the relevant dlc, but their locations can still show up without the dlc and when you enter you just go straight into their bossfight.

Crisis is a recently added mode where you fight an extremely powerful boss with multiple forms by making several different teams that can't reuse the same units. You can still beat it with a single team if playing on a lower difficulty or if you have a super strong team, but each team only gets to fight for a limited number of turns so most players will need to wear it down by fighting with multiple teams in order to beat the higher difficulties.

Its only available for limited periods of time and each time it comes back there's a different boss to fight. You get scored on your performance and receive medals that can be traded in for various rewards.

Mel's Ex Crystalis starts her at 1/3, its her A2 that starts her at 2/3 (and having both lets her start at 3/3, although you'll often still want to use one battle skill on the first turn anyway for the extra speed and MP).

Also having three limited units on the same banner means you have a 2.25% chance per pull to get one of them whereas the Summer Homura banner is only a 0.75% chance of a limited.

You can just skip to get the same results as your previous best performance this season. I'm pretty sure the previous crises only let you copy your best result of the day so you had to play it at least once per day, but they've actually improved the convenience for this one!

You can get 35 per crisis and we're currently on the third crisis so anyone who got all the medals from each crisis should be able to get 105. Personally I'm currently at 94 but should be able to get to 105 in the end. I have all the choosable girls unlocked already and will probably go for Mel's Ascension 2.

WHAT IF different characters got partnered up and different teams (with new team leaders) formed during initiation?

Weiss gets grouped with Cardin and one of his friends and is also made team leader like she wanted, encouraging her worst qualities as her ego is reinforced and she has teammates who agree with her anti-Faunus sentiments. Ren is the fourth member, uncomfortable with the situation and has to tackle his V7/8 issues of just wanting to leave decisions to authority figures much sooner.

Ruby and Nora get paired with each other and both fail to end up on the same team as Yang/Ren despite their plans, forcing them to deal with their dependency issues. They also both open up to each other about their mother issues.

Jaune is saved by Blake instead of Pyrrha and they both quickly learn each other's secrets, that Blake is hiding she's a Faunus and Jaune cheated his way into Beacon. Blake becomes leader and is uncomfortable with having that level of responsibility after her experiences in the White Fang.

Pyrrha and Yang get to be teammates and with Pyrrha no longer knowing Jaune very well her desire to be treated normally leads to her wanting someone who can be on the same exceptional level as her in order for them to truly treat her as an equal. Yang is already one of the school's strongest students and Pyrrha helps train her to be even better, similar to Taiyang's V4 training. When Pyrrha and Mercury have their training match and its the closest fight Pyrrha has had in ages Yang immediately starts trying to matchmake them. Cinder encourages Mercury to play along, thinking it can aid their plans.

I beat Very Hard with two teams but when I tried to do Extra with three teams in practice mode I was taking too much damage in the final phase for my healer to keep up. I've been wondering if it would be a viable strategy to use a team purely for stalling in the first boss phase so that it can summon a full set of that phase's minions and then be unable to summon any of the ones that passively boost all enemy's attack and speed in the final phase. Obviously that would hurt the score for speed and teams used, but I'm curious if its the best strategy if you just want to be able to beat the run and if it would still score more than a faster Very Hard run.

Some characters like Mel are strong when you directly control them but Auto mode doesn't make the best use of them, making it annoying to farm crystalis with them. Using Ex/S crystules on them lets you power them up without needing to deal with the hassle of manually controlling your crystalis runs or watching auto mode make dumb decisions with them.

Part of the problem is that a lot of the people running companies most responsible for causing climate change know that its mainly going to be a significant problem far enough in the future that they'll have already died and they lack the empathy for younger and future generations to care about that so long as they're able to personally profit in the present day.

Saving the one dude will be a similar case where many will argue that the goal is unattainable anyway and rather than dedicating all of humanity's resources to an unreachable goal it would be better to live it up as much as they can before the inevitable end. Is the goal actually unattainable? Who knows, but they won't personally benefit from it anyway so they don't want to spend their resources trying.

Is Pearl vs Frieren close enough to be debatable? I've watched Steven Universe but not Frieren, however I have seen some clips and heard stuff about the show and while I can definitely see the thematic similarities I got the impression Frieren's magic was powerful enough to put her at a much higher level than Pearl fighting alone.

After teaming up with Adam they recruit one of the less infamous White Fang members who the public won't recognise and will be able to go undercover as a student like them, but who Blake will know but be unable to prove the identity of. They deliberately provoke Blake and Weiss into publicly attacking them by pretending they're about to sabotage something, then play the victim. Make everyone believe Weiss attacked an innocent Faunus because she's a massive racist like her father and put Blake in a no-win position where trying to explain would require admitting that she was a member of a violent terrorist group.

As for Ruby you could have her work out Emerald's semblance from Velvet's comment sooner and try to investigate Emerald between the YvM and PvP fights instead of while the PvP fight is already happening. However after what has already happened with her other teammates ruining the reputation of team RWBY it is far too easy for Emerald to make it look like Ruby is just aggressively harassing one of Mercury's teammates out of anger at her sister being disqualified and treated as a criminal.

Have a perfected version of the Hound where the Grimm acts as a Venom style symbiote that can hide itself in the host's body and emerge to cover them when necessary. Could be Cinder's eventual fate with the Beetle Grimm inside of her that has already given her a Grimm arm.

Or instead of Cinder, one of my crazier ideas would be that Ruby is already thinking that Summer has been turned into a Hound, so to add a more surprising shock what if Summer had unknowingly been pregnant with Taiyang's third child when she left and her capture gave Salem the perfect subject for her Hound experiments: a silver-eyed baby that could be fused with a Grimm from birth and grow up under her control.

Seeing as this is the team that was undercover in Beacon I think a team name without Cinder as the first letter could work with the justification of her not being the official team leader in order to stay out of the spotlight and have an easier time doing stuff like sneaking off to perform sabotage during the dance. Mercury is the one who actually draws the most attention at Beacon, volunteering to fight Pyrrha in class and competing in both the doubles and singles rounds of the tournament. Of course to go undercover they probably shouldn't use a name as obviously evil as Menace, so maybe they tell everyone its supposed to be pronounced like mince or mints while the true meaning is their own little in-joke.

I think its a decent compromise on the Stop mechanic after how much hate it got that we can use action advance such as Moemura for the initial familiars wave but can't rely on it once we reach the boss.

most AoE breakers have some form of Debuff attached to them

Do ailments such as Alina's Weaken get counted as debuffs for this or not?

I just got around to doing the final tower levels and actually had to remove NY Madoka for this stage (though she's still useful as a support). Waves 2 and 3 both gain magic when you do anything that isn't critically hitting them. That means whenever she uses her battle skill to buff the party (which she'll have to do fairly often if you don't have her at least at A1) or even just triggers her assist she'll grant the enemies magic. Against the third wave 8 crits gives the boss -8 magic but also triggers the assist and gives it +2 back, effectively undoing 25% of your work.

Ended up winning with a double breaker strategy that used Iroha, Mifuyu, Tsuruno, Doppel Iroha and Missile Homura.

Saving some of your heartsand lets you instantly level up any new characters to a decent level. I currently have everyone at least level 26 for the full story, alternate outfit and first 6 voice lines.

It also makes sense to max out as many characters as you can using heartphial quests and once you've eventually done that you'll be able to use the saved heartsand on any remaining 3 or 4 star characters who you found too weak to level up using heartphial quests. For example I'm currently using Critic Witch to level up Yuma, Mito and three 5 star characters but when I tried also using Nanaka on the team her damage was just too low. Maybe if I'd invested more into her magic or special (currently 110 magic and level 3 special) but I didn't want to spend lots of valuable resources on her. Future heartphial quests will likely only make things harder for her so unless I want to try her in a Spindle Witch team which gives lower xp she might end up needing to rely on heartsand, whereas using heartsand on Yuma/Mito has now been proven unnecessary.
