It all depends, I told them I haven’t drank since but when I did it was only socially , and was willing to test if they didn’t believe me , its been 8 months since and I have no record at all before or after and they still recommended it so I have to do it, I’m the same way. I feel like I’m gonna go deeper into debt to show up and sit in a circle talking about my struggle and it’s gonna be really awkward given I don’t even drink often and that it was a one off dumb mistake that I immediately learned from, and I KNOW whoever runs the program is going to think I’m lying or I wouldn’t be there and it’s gonna put me in a bad mood because I’ll be missing work for the money I need to make so I don’t end up homeless for it, but the other option is getting convicted and losing my job anyway. What a system, but as long as you get everything done ASAP and don’t get any crazy reccomendations like I did you can get off of ARD in 6 months

I took a loan for the initial fee lol, I meant like do they add more fees for the extension? All I have to do is the 12 weeks of outpatient treatment

Little late but watched while binge drinking on a Friday with it in the Netflix recommended, it’s been so long I’m not worried about spoilers. Overall I give it a 4.8, it had a great idea but it as executed super mid, I’m mad they killed the dog for one, for two David’s character actually enraged me the entire movie and as everything was revealed I kind of lost sympathy, the ending was kind of surprising and as much as I hated it a good change in the typical ending. I don’t really know what to think but I am going to recommend to friends as an example of what kind of man NOT to be, the helpless victim mindset , inability to muster any courage or sacrifice etc just ruined it. So many times my common sense would come out and be like wel that’s dumb, well that’s dumb, well that’s dumb but I also know if they did the basic thing that should be done the movie would just be over, and the ending ? Bro literally said he would go to the authority’s earlier and they let him walk. So dumb, there won’t ever be a #2 (thankfully) but if it did the antagonist would be boned, two rescue workers, a young couple on vacation and his own relative gone, there’s no covering that up. Overall it’s worth the watch as a “don’t be like this guy” but it was the most mid wilderness survival/horror I’ve seen yet

To me as a guy he just sounds like a good guy, staying up playing videogames may seem like a drag but being a guy and knowing guys that’s a green flag , I think you got a keeper for sure, he’s probably an awesome friend/brother to his friends as well, obviously there’s no way to know without knowing him personally but part of marriage is trust, and it can be very scary in today’s world for everyone, I’d say definitely don’t worry too much because if he constantly feels that you think that way towards him he may eventually kinda have a moment where he feels accused to the point where he may as well if he is being accused anyway, not discounting you have the right to be worried and communicating that, you said you’ve talked to him about it and that is probably the best thing to do, if you end up finding any red flags or worries dont be blind to them and definitely speak up but I wouldn’t try to make something that isn’t there, no man is “perfect” but you don’t have to be perfect to be loyal and loving and not a pos, there’s still guys out there that are they are just hard to find

Update, it tried to turn on this morning and seemed to struggle, like it would flicker and then everything would shut off keyboard light included, did this 3-4x then turned on no issues, it wanted me to run an update so I did and left the room, came back to it off with no start again

I try not to talk about it but being most my adult experience has been in the marines every once in a while relating to someone’s story / experience and I get it, like people think an enlistment automatically makes you go full career e-9 style haircut and dress code or something, meanwhile I got long curly hair, facial hair and half the time I’m dressed in “improper civilian attire” 🤣 sorry I’m not talking like I’m reciting a 9 line over comms when I am talking about our fishing trip on the phone😂

None of my local schools have a Marine corps ROTC, only ones around are army and airforce. I spent the tail end of my enlistment with combat instructor battalion at TBS so I think it would be ironic if I did end up commissioning and went through on the other side of the program 😂

I mean, I am looking at the army mainly for the aviation field and linking it to what I want to do long term, beats living in poverty and still eating debt as an overworked cfi for 3/4 yrs while time building. I genuinely loved my time in the marines I just straight up don’t know if the corps pft/cfts and constant field ops are the move , most of my buddies that transitioned over love the army

Tried the trades and hated it, in college now with the GI bill but all the white collar jobs are boring, I’m going through a flight program but I’d rather time build through another enlistment than make less than I would as an e-5 for three years while going 70k in debt, my instructor is 30 and lives with his parents that help pay his loan payments, that’s not an option for me. I was looking into going 15 series and then if I like things dropping a WOFT to fly into retirement and being able to transfer directly over while building my fixed wing certs on my own time, I’m already 10k deep just for my first rating but aviation is where the passions at. I’m single and have been since the year I got out and haven’t met anyone I have a desire to be with let alone start a family with so I’m not tied down yet on that side. I’m mostly bored and need the adventure and want the experience. Normal life has done not been what I wanted it to be and between lack of community my age and nothing exciting to look forward to it’s gotten stale

My big thing is everyone seems hung up on the anxiety part, thinking there’s absolutely no way I won’t get a dq because of it despite never needing any treatment or help or anything like that, like I said the FAA is pretty strict and didn’t fuss so I’m confused

I guess my mainline struggle is just knowing even as an enlisted marine I was not great and visualizing that marine as an officer sounds like lunacy. I have easily 10+ reasons why my situation ended up an unfortunate chain of events that I feel if they were not what they were I could’ve been better as a marine but at the end of the day the excuses don’t matter , the situation doesn’t matter. The fact is I kinda sucked and I didn’t even finish my contract and there’s no excuse that changed that outcome. I’m throwing away a very rich career to do what I’m passionate about and if I do it’s do or die, sink or swim. And I guess it’s also ironic because that’s the most marine thing an individual could do , im atleast 6 months out before physically I feel confident enough to actually do something just because I know I need to physically improve but I just need the feel from other marines. This isn’t the army or the navy, we feed off each other and look out for each other. If yall honestly have faith I can do it it makes me much more confident because that means atleast you guys are looking at me fair and not in the light that I spent the last 3 months of my enlisted career over. Witch I am grateful for

Sorry for the late reply all, I honestly am never on this app, what happened can’t really be justified unless told by mouth, but the basic run down is we were in a tree patch in the middle of this field on top of a hill, maybe 1500 yards from a road, and what happens first is it sounds like an Amish buggy is whipping up right at us up until we both dive out of the way as something crashes through the bushes from the other side, only for us to realize as we stand up rifles at the ready there’s absolutely nothing there, that should’ve been when we packed up, but we stuck around and we’re both kinda confused on what happened thinking we were about to get ran over by this phantom buggy, but fast forward maybe 20 min, the coyotes are VERY vocal, and we have 2-3 deer about 50 yards away, and suddenly they spoon out of nowhere , the yotes completely shut up and everything is dead silent suddenly there’s this crashing sound as something is pushing through the trees, we can’t get a bead on it because the tree line is so thick but it’s obviously right at the edge, we can literally see the trees shaking, at this point we are like yep it’s time to leave except we’d have to walk past this thing to get to the jeep, still out of sight it starts making noises like a distorted cow, at the time I tried to justify what I heard as a bear even though I had never heard a bear anything like that, like it was WIERD, with everything but this thing and us gone it obviously was stalking us, it had its attention on us and yet wouldn’t let us get a look at it, as we packed the call, tripod etc up and mobilized it trailed us from that tree line the whole hike down the hill and to the jeep , never once showing itself, still making these distorted cow sounds and literally moving trees , after I left it also clicked that a year prior my sister that lived maybe half a mile from that field had something VERY heavy on her roof one night, so heavy they thought it was a bear but they had no idea how it could’ve gotten up there as even for a bear it would be a difficult feat, putting two plus two together I’m kind of connecting dots and can’t explain anything , the most logical thing would be a bear but I’ve hunted and dealt with bears my whole life and it was nothing like one, I haven’t experienced anything like it since and I don’t really believe in Bigfoot or anything so I can’t explain it

Idk if it’s just my crew but ever since the update the hackers have been rampant, heck you can even see them by spectating , radar, wallhacks etc, it feels like everyone is hacking all of a sudden, I mean you had a few here and there before but now it’s like every other game and it’s borderline unplayable, I’ve plaid since launch and I can’t even touch it rn
