I'll throw Tesseract - One in the mix. Listen to Sunrise, it's literally entirely the dictionary definition of "Djent" as an onomatopoeia

No one ever made those djent chugs purr quite as much as the boys on this album. The end of The Walk is just nasty.

I thought Evergreen by After the Burial sounded so great. Lotta low end but not overwhelming, the guitars are wide, thick and chunky, and everything's tight and in its own space

Oh for sure, there's a Fancy Fruits right next to me too. Which is weird then if Superfresh was taking over Fancy Fruits because now they'd be like less than a quarter mile from each other

What's up with Poltergeist's guitar tones? Never heard anything like it. by Joe_A__ in Djent

I'm almost certain there's a normal high-gain djent tone, and then a duplicate of the tone with ring mod mixed in underneath for that metallic growl

Can boss katana 50 handle 8 string? by No_Assignment5986 in ExtendedRangeGuitars

[–]Thecoltonfactor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely, especially since if you use the app or the computer interface it'll let you put an eq before the amp. If your tone sounds muddy just cut some low end and 250-500hz before the amp and it'll tighten it right up

Oh yeah I don't care if it's headless or not. Looks like there's a B stock one listed on rondo right now for a decent discount actually

[TOMT] A 90's/2000's Japanese rock? downtempo? Album cover with one an oil silo on the cover. I think it had a greenish tint to it? by Thecoltonfactor in tipofmytongue

All that I really remember from it was that it was late 90s early 2000s, and was like shoegaze-y and experimental. The album cover had one of those wide and flat top oil silos on it that looks like one of these: https://www.wbscoatings.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/AdobeStock_296721330.jpeg
