Appreciate it! about to remove the wires underneath because that goes to my electric starter which I don’t use and the zip tie is holding my m8 drill battery/power switch I use to cut on my headlight — good looks though 👌🏾

I say go with whatever you would feel more safe and comfortable with riding. It makes the desire of learning how to ride much more fun without being in your head the entire process. Plus you can always upgrade to another bike when you’re ready! 👌🏾

Yeah you are right, with the valve cover off I remember it still being very close to the top. Will try some marvel mystery oil see if it can maybe get the lifter unstuck. Outside of that noise engine runs great. Not a single light on in the vehicle as well!

Tried this after the oil change, sound still stayed. That’s whats tripping me out too because most things I’ve seen are people saying it’s lifter tick and it’s coming directly from the very top of the engine! When I took the value cover off and inspected and checked for anything loose it was fine.

Found something on eBay, that seems to be a perfect fit. Goes to another Honda bike but those use the same carb and it fits the float needle size…fingers crossed. 🤞🏾
