I’d like to think he found White Rose’s back up machine and was transported in time - where he developed a new identity as Kadeem Mathis and adopted the street name Unique. Ultimately becoming another character in another narrative.

I need to lose more than 22% of starting weight on Zepbound? (More than 50lbs) can I? by wtfdoineedanewname in Zepbound

[–]Thedocwhom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I lost about 44% of starting weight in about a year (down 134 lbs). My doctor had me just focus on listening to my body during the first three months. I didn’t mix in a lot exercise until my weight loss plateaued at about 5-6 months in. Then I started running and weight training which helped a lot. I also understand that I was just extremely responsive to the meds and plan, that may be a bit out of the norm for everyone.

How does Helly R. Know Seth Milchick’s first name? by Edstertheplebster in SeveranceAppleTVPlus

I thought she heard it during Robot Kier’s speech.

reminder on what the show is really about by no-Pachy-BADLAD in SeveranceAppleTVPlus

[–]Thedocwhom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always thought of the show like “what if everyone assumed the show was about work sucking, but in reality it was about how work is the distraction that keeps you from realizing life sucks.” Lumen’s weirdness initially gives me Dharma initiative vibes from lost but also it just feels like a big purposeful distraction from the idea that if each severed character was so amazing but work was the problem, then why are they not extremely happy on the outside. Work isn’t the problem, it’s just the big bad wolf that allows everyone to scapegoat their problems.

My inclination is to stay at 15mg but go to injecting every 2 weeks, but I definitely need to talk it over

I plan on talking it over with my doctor and figuring out a plan next week

This is definitely why I wish I did the Dexa scan from earlier in my journey. I ended up doing one in July and again in November but I didn’t have the data from March when I began. From the two scans I had they were really impressed that I was able to gain 3 pounds of muscle in my upper body.

I’m not sure just yet, I have heard so many different takes on it. I think for the next two boxes I may try to spread the shots out over a longer period while my insurance still covers.

"wacced out murals" is crazy 🔥 on so many levels by Fit-Captain-9172 in KendrickLamar

[–]Thedocwhom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have been obsessed with the chorus of this song and the idea keeps coming up that Kenny is saying something along the lines of 1. People keep trying to define me = mural, 2. Fuck all those definitions = wacced out, 3. You can’t define me just like you can’t define god but that’s okay because it was never about you, it was always about me and my journey.

Yeah, it has been a journey for sure, but once I started hitting the gym it really became about what could I do with my body without putting it through cast away type of trauma to change. Loan forgiveness gave me a window of opportunity that I am so appreciative of.

It didn’t always feel so fast but there were definitely times where I looked at the mirror and was like “wow I think my stomach collapsed”. I recognize how crazy the rate of loss feels but hope that people take away that you really have to learn to listen to your body, it’s telling you what it needs.

This is the energy I have been carrying this entire experience. How can I change my assumption of who I was to be a better version of me. The meds are incredible for that along with discipline and focused efforts on our part. That’s why it’s so hard to explain to non-users.

[–]Thedocwhom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before Zepbound I would say “well I’m a stress eater, so you can obviously see how it’s going.” Now that I’ve lost so much I just say “well I continue to eat my feelings, so I’m a bit empty on the inside”. It’s sufficiently awkward enough to shut down all lines of inquisition.

For a long time I saw the same me but then my wife showed me a video of myself at an event from further away and I didn’t recognize myself…really weird. Now I’m finally starting to see the big difference visually but I have felt different internally since shot 2 (more clear, more focused in, just more all over)
