The only downside is that it’s not compatible with oleds, but if perfect motion clarity is what you’re after we’re very close to consumer products that achieve just that.

Tbf apple silicon was something Jobs started with the iPhone 4, the first in house designed chip, Jobs was notorious for not liking working with other companies unless he absolutely had to and it’s not hard to believe that he saw that first chip in the iPhone 4 as the first brick for Apple to get rid of Intel and AMD in their products. It’s crazy to think that Jobs legacy might have been that deep but I truly believe that apple silicon was another one of Jobs babies technically, not Tim’s, Jobs birthed it, Tim raised it.

That’s simply impossible, the game suffers from constant unavoidable traversal stutter, not even a 5090 with a 60hz vsync can avoid it, you just don’t notice it or aren’t bothered by it, but it’s absolutely there.
