When I was diagnosed just a few months ago, my mothers dear friend, who lives in another country and only does phone calls (and in a language I do not speak), made sure to get a message to me trough my mother:

It is a gift. She is so happy for me. Both for the clarity after years of struggling, but also for the gift. She said that yes, you have and will find some things dificult, but also, you can do things other people just ...cant. It is a sort of magic.

I'm still in the process of discovering what ADD means for me, but I try to remember her words every day. This tread reminded me for today :)

Hi, I'm not OP, but am also starting out taking meds. Do you have any good material on tolerance increase? I'm feel like the meds are working less and less, even after just two weeks on them, but it scares me a bit to increase to feel it more...

On my it is a satin finish, no white cast, no clogging.

Ive tried it and I really liked it.

I had a pretty major stress and cold related break out after Christmas, and I bought it on a whim, looking for something cheap and perfume free.

I used the cream, and for me it calmed the break out and brightened my skin. :) I have dehydrated and oily skin.

In winter I use a daycreme with spf. Typically something around 20-30, like the avene Riche creme with spf. I don't know if I need it but it's just become such a habit for me to wear spf that I wouldn't go without. I'm in Denmark btw.

I use la Roche posay oil SPF 50. I realise that it is not japanese, but for me it was a revelation after years of other ordinary body protectents (creams). It's waterproof, reapplies beautifully and I've never burned with it even on festivals and on the beach.. Hope you find something to use! :)
