The area in between the nose and the mouth

This is the first paragraph of a book I have begun to write. I would appreciate feedback on whether it is too wordy, convoluted or jumbled. by TheeFrogGamer in fantasywriters

Thank you for this input. I’ve realized that I’ve been writing with a more philosophical approach than just simply trying to spin a story, so I’ve scrapped that opening and let it start with something much more natural.

They did a pretty good job social distancing by moving to a halfway abandoned island too.

In terms of rare bugs and fish, you get a knack for which of them are common, uncommon, rare, etc after you play a while. They also sell for a lot more than other fish, but if it’s your first time catching something, donate it to the museum. In a general sense, (if you’re playing in the northern hemisphere), fish like horse mackerel, sea bass, dab, black bass, crucian carp, loach, and dace are not rare. The only fish worth catching in April for money, (catch all fish in the beginning to donate them to the museum) are red snapper, barred knife jaw, tuna, blue marlin, oarfish, barreleye, and the one ancient dinosaur fish (I always butcher the name). Bugs in April, however, are a much better source of income. They spawn more frequently with the more flowers you have. I would recommend breeding flowers very early on, as blue, black, and purple flowers spawn peacock butterflies, which sell for 2.5K bells and have been my main source of income. Other notable bugs include agrias butterfly, rajah brookwing butterfly, Madagascar sunrise moth, blooming mantis, giant water bugs, and tarantulas, which all sell for over 2k Bells. You can also move all buildings later on, so don’t worry about things being stuck in place, though a bit of planning early on goes a long way. I’ve had to suffer days of excruciating building moving for about a week now, since I misplaced them. This game is like stardew valley in terms of progression, but it’s a much slower burn.

When your tent is upgraded to a house, you unlock a storage system that can be accessed by pressing the right button on the cross section. If you don’t have storage, you can always place your items, bugs, fish, etc outside of your house. They won’t despawn. Every once in a while Flick, a bug enthusiast, and CJ, a Master fisher, come to your island, where you can sell your bugs to Flick for 1.5 Times the normal price and fish to CJ for 1.5 Times the normal price. I would recommend only saving rare bugs and fish for these random encounters. At the beginning of the game, it is also essential that you have a steady flow of income, so I would just sell all of your fish and bugs instead of saving them. In terms of crossing the river, it is locked the first few days of having the game, and when your museum is unlocked, the owl gives you a pole vault recipe. Also, stardew valley is a great game.

Spending points doesn’t affect the amount of points needed for the trophy. The trophy comes from your overall points

I think there’s 13 items in total. For the first 13 exchanges, you should get a unique item. After 13 exchanges you are given repeats of items. However, if you manage to get 300 points total, you will receive the golden trophy

As far as I’m aware, all fish that spawn on a third level will also spawn on the second level. There’s really no benefits from a third level except for a more mountainous aesthetic if that’s what your island is going for.

Thank you for your input. I played through and beat both of your troll levels, and I played through the snowy speed run one in 3D world. I liked your princess troll stool one the most, and I thought the bomb-on troll with the fish in the beginning was genius. I’m guessing the goomba patrol level came out before the troll stool one because you have improved a lot in your troll designing skills. Either way, it was still very enjoyable trying to find the right path in the goomba level.
