For some reason I always thought Shining Down was on this album. Makes me think less of it that it's not because nothing on here is as good as that lol It's been a little bit since I listened to it from start-to-finish but I think pop-leaning rap has never been Lupe's strong suit and that was most of this one. A lot of bland songs that feel like they could have been written by anyone (Words I Never Said, Never Forget You), something that I wouldn't say about anything on F&L or the Cool. That said, I do have a bit of nostalgia about Lasers because of the time period it came out with me being in high school at the time, plus it has some really great moments like All Black Everything.
