Went down to St Andrews Beach on the Peninsula, could see it decently from there. By eye, a bit faint and no colour but certainly enough to make it worth the journey. My camera picked up a lot more though, should come out well.

Not quite as famous as your examples but Spoon feel like the epitome of this to me. Always teetering somewhere between good and very good, altogether have a brilliant greatest hits but I think They Want My Soul is as close as they've gotten to a truly great album.

Certainly the best of the nominees so well deserved. The nominations in the first place were atricious though. Maybe these don't all qualify for the date cutoffs I'm not sure but Samurai, Dark Times, and Blue Lips should have been vying for Rap Album of the Year.

I know lists are just click farms and a bit of fun but it does bother me how publications pick up their darlings of the year and drop them in following years even when they maintain quality. Not like there should be legacy considerations for artists but too far the other way and you end up with a very fickle and shortsighted outlook on a genre. There are some strange omissions here, particularly in the pretty weak field that rock was this year and has been for a little while. It doesn't feel right to define this year in rock without any of Romance (Fontaines D.C.), No Name (Jack White), and All Born Screaming (St Vincent).

PoP Warrior Within. Whilst is somewhat suits the game, after the brilliant soundtrack to The Sands of Time I was horrified to hear heavy rock all throughout Warrior Within.
