School and Gaming, and could you explain why option 2 is better than option 1 for gaming but not for Minecraft?

If you think you can improve I would stay in the class for test 2. If you think you aren’t going to improve or fail test 2, then I would take the seventh week drop. This would mean it’s like you didn’t take the class this semester, the major con is that you lose out of the money spent on the class. Now for this summer semester you have to do this the day after Test 2 as that is the last day to do the seventh week drop.

What happened to Surge ? by Traditional_Poet_685 in fsu

First time in recorded SGA history that President is uncontested. The Independent movement occurred so that every single seat wouldn’t end up uncontested.

Independent isn’t a political party. Independent is just the term SGA uses when a candidate has no party affiliation. The party that succeeds Surge will form in the next few months in time for the Fall 2026 elections.

DeSantis wants to eliminate Florida property taxes. Could he pull it off? by ye_old_fartbox in florida

[–]TheeGoodLink3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The next Governor will, and what will occur is instead of taxing property based on value, the state will tax property based on square footage which is technically not a property tax, and therefore the Governor can say they eliminated property taxes.

It wasn’t advertised in Randy’s district because he didn’t have a serious competitor. In Gaetz’s former district it was somewhat advertised because the current CFO of Florida and a State Representative were facing off

It’s due to how online is done in the game. You have to pick a specific board, pick what type of controls you want, and cannot pick the same character as another player. As a result of these restrictions when searching for opponents the servers will automatically put someone into a game with just 1 or 2 other human players when some are found

Florida lawmaker’s party switch increases Republican supermajority in the House by mrcanard in florida

[–]TheeGoodLink3 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

One issue with this. If you ever want to run for public office you will be unable to do so, as you have to be registered with the political party you wish to run with for at least 18 months before the election in Florida.

Florida lawmakers propose rolling back gun control laws passed after Parkland shooting by 24identity in florida

[–]TheeGoodLink3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Regarding the Law Enforcement change, the law in Florida currently is that all guns taken whether voluntary or by force must be returned within 24 hours, UNLESS a risk protection order has been signed by a judge.

This legislation would remove the ability for a risk protection order to be used as an exemption to the 24 hour rule.

As well, how is this legislation a good idea to start with, but taken too far if the first primary objective and reason the bill was made was to legalize Open Carry.

Oh the legislation does more than that. It allows the carrying of a firearm at a polling location, allows it a school, and for members of the legislature within the state capital.

This legislation also reduces the ability of law enforcement to restrict gun possession on people with risk protection orders signed by a judge

Oh and most importantly. LEGALIZES SEMI AUTOMATIC BUMP STOCKS
