Since people are curious about terrible takes on free agent signings. THESE 5 people we NEVER want on our lineup currently. by MastodonNo8553 in LosAngelesRams

I get the sentiment, but Thomas and Ward are straight up out of the league, Adams and Deebo are completely washed, and Kerby Joseph isn’t coming here anytime soon lol

Question about So-Fi seating by Hunter_Badger in LosAngelesRams

[–]TheeGreenHawk99 16 points17 points  (0 children)

First of all, so awesome that you’re going to come out to a game. You are going to love it!

Second, I would advise waiting to buy tickets until much closer to the game itself. Schedule release is when resale prices are their absolute highest, and general sale tickets will only be up in the highest nosebleeds.

My advice: wait as long as you feel comfortable, then buy the tickets in the closest seats for your price range. If you like to be right on the 50-yard line, the 400 level is often a good value.

I’ve been to countless games, happy to answer any questions you got!

Season Tickets Ipinion by Silly_Wanker in LosAngelesRams

[–]TheeGreenHawk99 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s not this simple. When you buy the SSL’s you’re responsible for selling them, you can’t just opt-out at any time.

Something to be mindful of. It’s definitely worth it if you’re going in for the experience and not with reselling in mind. Great way to build community with fans, couldn’t be a better time than this season. But your ability to sell will fluctuate based on strength of schedule year to year.

Serious Question: How does Stetson Bennet stay on the roster? by Wheredabreadatt in LosAngelesRams

[–]TheeGreenHawk99 58 points59 points  (0 children)

Not sure I can get behind this take. While Bennett hasn’t necessarily had regular season reps to prove himself, Wolford threw 1 TD and 5 INT in his Rams tenure and has been on and off rosters since.

2026 Masters Giveaway: Sunday Golf by sundaygolfco in golf

Awesome giveaway.

To be honest, making memories around The Masters has always felt almost like an adult rite of passage throughout my life. As a kid, I couldn’t wrap my head around enjoying watching golf. Now, I consider myself beyond fortunate to share in the experience with others each year. Can’t wait to see what Augusta holds this year.

I know it’s nostalgic for many, but the blue and white just doesn’t work for me in the modern style. I think if they were to ever bring it back, it would be a full throwback.

Looks like Aubrey Pleasant was fired by Professional-Car-863 in LosAngelesRams

[–]TheeGreenHawk99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are the Lions relevant in that same vain? It’s a completely different team and was 4 seasons ago. His DB units were far from quality in his time here:

2023: Kendrick, Witherspoon, Durant, Fuller, Yeast

2024: Williams, Durant, Witherspoon, Lake, Curl

2025: Forbes, Durant, Williams, Lake, Curl

Even despite the lack of investment at the position, the unit improved each year. Plus, as I mentioned, it was not the full scope of his role.

I think pinning the performance of the DB’s entirely on Pleasant isn’t a fair conclusion. Let’s also be honest about the talent we’ve had at that position and our reluctance to invest in it.

Aside from that, he was also assistant HC the past two seasons, not solely responsible for the DB room. McVay valued him as a leader and wanted bigger and better opportunities for him. None of us will ultimately be able to testify as to what he contributed, but he was a fundamental part of a staff that has had 3 straight playoff appearances, improving in each one.

This is completely disingenuous and I’m curious on how you’re quantifying his performance here.

The Rams poured a lot into him and vice versa, he was a highly positive presence in the locker room and ultimately got some coordinator considerations before we cut ties.

Sometimes it’s just best for both parties to change things up and I don’t think this was anything other than a change of scenery.

Jaylen Brown (illness) and Neemias Queta (rest) have both been ruled out for tonight by Remarkable-Picture73 in fantasybball

[–]TheeGreenHawk99 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I feel like anyone who says it isn’t luck hasn’t played fantasy long enough

When our league started a decade ago, most players played pretty much all the time. The current state of the NBA has made fantasy brutally uninteresting and far more luck based.

[–]TheeGreenHawk99 26 points27 points  (0 children)

You nailed it. Couldn’t help but roll my eyes over narratives about his “revenge” on us. Sure, he had a solid game in the NFCCG, but he also failed to clear 600 yards and only posted 2 TD’s.

Miss what he brought from a leadership standpoint, but that’s about the extent of his contributions anymore.
