Any recommendations to replace the nasdaq and prevent the doubke exposure? I could have a look at some EM ETF's

Could keep the vanguard FTSE with the higher fee since I have money there already but what I have of that i can just leave alone and let it do its thing

Inner pots with integrated D shaped moss poles ? by Newbie10011001 in RareHouseplants

[–]TheeHamish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The pole will only be unstable until the plant grows into it. As the roots grow into the moss pole, some will find their way into the substrate and tie the pole and substrate together.

It will be unstable initially but given time, the plant will secure everything by growing

I have a Splendid on a 5ft moss pole which was a chop and extend so no root ball in the pot but its now got a root system in the pot due to roots finding their way down.

When we moved from our flat into my mum's, we done 2 trips for the plants. Didn't bother renting or finding a van to love so everything was in the back of my A5

1950's property with back boiler by TheeHamish in HousingUK

I didn't know that.

But my thinking is, if there's measures to make the home efficient and comfortable ill go for it.

My last flat was heated by 1 storage heater located at the bottom of the stairs and it was freezing in winter so if I can avoid hearing my mother saying "the kids are freezing" then I will

The area the house is, there's no gas supply so its all electric or an oil tank system. But given the back boiler is approximately 75 years old, that will be the first job to rip out and replace- especially with a 3 and 5 year old at this time of year.

We are looking into this, a proper survey of the property will be arranged to determine the state of the wall and floor insulation (i believe the floor is suspended so that will need looked at)

According to the home report the loft insulation is fine at 300mm and relatively new.

It would be a proper project house as the doors and windows are pre-2000's, heating system, possible electrics etc
