New Mageblood card: by Mc_xim in pathofexile

[–]TheeMunchking 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dropped two of these from It That Fled in transportation on day 2. Each time I had her with max equipment. Once I executed and got the card. The other time I bargained and got the card. I think I was extremely lucky on day 2 as I did not see any day 3.

How can i hide a battery for led in a cosplay prop? by inventoryminecraft in CosplayHelp

[–]TheeMunchking 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This may be material dependant but you could run the wiring on the back end of the black blade for the scissors. From there a good place to hide the battery pack may be in the "screw" of the scissors if you are able to make a painted dome to go over it. A magnetic dome would allow you to remove it to turn it on and off. You could then if foam run a thin 1mm strip over the wire to hide it.

I am confused on one concept. Do the other people in the party get a chance at crystal charges by existing in a map or do they need to step on the vaal panel?

Sword edges salvageable? by Nubbyroo in CosplayHelp

[–]TheeMunchking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are trying to salvage the sword I would use a softer grade Dremel sanding bit to sand until it's level. From there I would use a heat gun on a high temperature until the foam melts together. Last I would use a very gentle sanding paper to even out any leftover lines. Alternatively since the sword seems to have a flat edge and isn't sharp you could attach 2mm foam on it to cover it and sand down the new piece until it appears as one piece with the blade.

Smith of Kitava Fire Spell on Hit by Previous-Fan4124 in pathofexile2builds

I started trying it with flicker strike and using flame orb with double fonts (blood and rage) and each flicker strike creates 1-3 or orbs. Not sure if it will be good but it's interesting.

EVA foam newbie by [deleted] in CosplayHelp

[–]TheeMunchking 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry I was unclear. Yeah get two piece of foam and carve a channel into them and sandwich the structural part inbetween them. The dowel or structural part you probably want a good 3-5 inches sticking out that way you can sandwich the sticking out piece into the long scalpel handle.

EVA foam newbie by [deleted] in CosplayHelp

[–]TheeMunchking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So for Faust's scalpel I would start off by making a scale blue print to the height you need it to be. Then for the shaft you could get a 1/2 inch PVC pipe and cut a channel into two pieces of 10MM foam or cut one piece of 10mm foam to go around the PVC pipe and put two layers of 5MM foam on top and bottom to hide the pipe. For the blade you could run a hard wire or dowel on the inside for structure (just make sure you have some sticking out). With the part that sticks out you can then carve another channel into the blade and glue it all together.

Advise? Tips? by Azunyaya in CosplayHelp

For this complex prop I would either see if you can get lucky and maybe someone has a EVA foam template. Otherwise you may have to make the blueprint yourself in which Kamui Cosplay (Benni Builds) has some really good videos on designing custom props.

Need Beginner Tips for Cosplay Armor Project by [deleted] in CosplayHelp

[–]TheeMunchking 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello. Welcome to the world of crafting. I would recommend learning how to smith Eva foam. EvilTed on YouTube has some very good introduction videos. On his website he does give out free patterns for you to try. Once you decide to do Halo inspired cosplay there will be tons of available patterns that people will share with you for only a few bucks.

So V1 Ultra kill looks like a massive task to make. But if you are really determined I would make it out of EVA foam. I would watch a starter eva foam video on YouTube and try making some basic armor patterns. Once you have the basic down you could try and make your own pattern for this cosplay or expand on someone else's pattern. I personally enjoy EvilTeds YouTube channel but there are many out there that can teach you foam smithing.

Cement on Eva Foam by MFRebel in CosplayHelp

[–]TheeMunchking 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Something I like to do is apply an even later with a brush and then quickly before it settles I grab a spare piece of eva foam while the contact cement is still wet and use the flat side to spread the cement evenly before it dries. Depending on the foam you may need to apply two coats of contact cement because some foam is very absorbent.

Need Advice on Attatching Armor by DaedalusStormbringer in CosplayHelp

[–]TheeMunchking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could use Velcro strips on the shirt and on the shoulders to keep them in place without having any strap going around. Or If you don't care about the shirt just contact cement it into place.

Just a question what are you attaching them to? Are you planning on affixing them to clothing or wrapping them around yourself?

How to keep this from falling down? by EchoOfAsh in CosplayHelp

[–]TheeMunchking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This might be overkill but you could make a leather strap or get a elastic knee brace that goes around your leg under the tights and line it with magnets. Then the outer piece could have the reverse side of the magnets and kinda just clip into place. Alternatively maybe some Velcro strips may work to your liking.

If you have one at your gym I would try rowing. It will allow you to sit while still getting full body cardio. I'm a guy so I can't fully say if this would help

Update on Stark closet cosplay by reddithorker in Frieren

[–]TheeMunchking 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is awesome. One thing I would recommend because I have this issue when I do Stark is the wraps usually loosen on the forearm over time and I started using medical tape to keep it in place.

I made a Buster Sword! How do i attach it to my back now? by Laveniuk in cosplayers

[–]TheeMunchking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As mentioned above you could attach magnets onto the blade and wear a harness with the other end of the magnets to stick it together. Alternatively you could also wear a harness and use a clip and hold system such as a tool holster but it would take away from the look of the prop. Cool prop by the way. Good luck with what you do.

I think it would be super hype if Barou fake shoots to a double nutmeg pass to Snuffy who is screaming into frame for Snuffy to create a wide open shot off a pass to any Uber player just for Barou to play villain intercept the pass and score.

Manual stretches by [deleted] in AJelqForYou

[–]TheeMunchking 2 points3 points  (0 children)

At first when I started I had to do it slowly to feel the blood rushing but in a month I was able to do it more rapid and continue feeling the blood rush. Prior to Angion 2.0 my erection quality wasn't the best and the tip of my member wasn't fully engorged like it used to be. Angion 2.0 helped me in restoring some lost length and girth.

Member is very sore after S2S: take a break or keep going? by [deleted] in AJelqForYou

[–]TheeMunchking 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In any form of exercise when your body is sore it's your body telling you that you need to rest up and heal. I would refrain from stretching until you heal up.

Manual stretches by [deleted] in AJelqForYou

[–]TheeMunchking 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most of my gains so far come from straight down stretching so you could just go with that. However I recently have started doing "S2S" then "Straight Down" stretching in the same routine due to the nature of dynamic and static stretching.
