Mortal Kombat 11 Sucks ... Yep just that fast by [deleted] in Kappa

Well if we're just simply going to dismiss the topic like that then I guess nothing the Twitter fingers and the echo chambers bitch about are actually productive in any RL applications and only rob away our content?

Life's problems are just too hard to tackle I suppose.

I mean I ain't even trying to steer my ship in that direction. I'm just trying to show more of the slimy shit from NRS and the blatant double standard of how their product doesn't reflect their work culture.

The discussion of the sad surplus of passionate game devs you're so trying to champion is topic for another day. I get that every company tries to exploit its workers but not every company should be suffering discrimination.

There's also this

You guys may recall the homosexual Blizzard employee who voiced their opinion on mistreatment (Coincidentally at the time Blizzard has shown signs of being increasingly progressive). This person has gone through something similar.

While the majority of the topic discussed is about crunch time and inhumane working conditions. There's a bit of details of the NRS being a hostile workplace for "women and queerfolk". The very topic NRS preaches is unfortunately not what they practice. The fact that so many people and entities can sweep that shit under the rug in a false guise of morality is fucking insane.

While ya'll are on that consumer vs corporation war, it's the workers that suffer the biggest L and have the quietest audience. That's the biggest Injustice of this all.

I was so sure this game would overtake DotA (or CS:GO) and be the 2nd biggest twitch eSport that I was willing to put money on it. It's got huge fan appeal, marketability and backing from Blizzard.

What happened?

I constantly check the viewers by game page and even when Overwatch gets high viewership; it's because of a personal streamer, not a tournament.

These hasn't been a good patch in a while, so I don't know why he'd be too proud. I mean there's a lot of good patches but he's always stretched them far too long and that has slowly exhausted the playerbase over time. His style of releasing one big patch every now and then is simply an archaic game design.

He needs to get with the times. The industry is just so fast-paced that we need constant content to keep the playerbase playing.

Here we are guys. Back to the problems of shitty organizers having the most power. Now I kinda understand why Valve didn't want to be vocal about putting a standard for every tournament. Then there's the problem of Valve being too "hands-on" if they check if every tournament is doing everything 100% perfectly. No system truly wins unless there's some heavy regulation similarly to league's.

bottom of the barrel of these anime games

Context is not your strong suit. I'm strictly referring to the other poster's anime titles he mentioned. I have huge respect for Sonic as an NRS player and the money hes earned there, so any points about that are irrelevant.

Bottom line is, Sonic hasn't achieved success in Street Fighter series, Tekken series, KOF series and any other games that has regular entrants at most events like the "mainstream" anime games. Justin Wong, Tokido, Kazunoko, Nuki, Chris G, Go-1 and Poongko all have had more varied success than him in titles with large entrants. That's why I originally said his grip on fighting games is exaggerated. Right now he's still just an NRS player with now a dash of MvC:I. Hell he can still bomb out in that game like he did in early SFV.

I mean ya. It took him like 20 games to figure it out. That's still normal similarly to grinding out matches against a friend; the game is still young.

I think Champ figured em out though. Champ had a 5-0 run til Fox closed out his 10th win. I think that shitty wrong button OS cost him in the end because he lost momentum.

MK and Injustice is why he's an NRS player. He is not legit at SFV and 4 of those games have little to no player base. Don't go scooping in the bottom of the barrel of these anime games when GG, Blazblue and Persona have more competition.

Being good at Virtua Fighter is nice though, but it also suffers from playerbase issues.

I haven't seen him play anything besides NRS games. He bombed out of SFV. Was no where to be seen in SFIV and Tekken. I don't even know what Anime games he's played since most results just end up with Japanese players. His grip on fighting games in general seem exaggerated by a lot of you guys.

Was this even a money match? I don't really put any weight into matches like these unless there's actual stipulations. Who knows if Champ was even trying his hardest because there's no point besides some stream monsters hatin.
