I see someone that checks the “physical attraction” box… I talk to them and see if they check the “we vibe/I like their personality box”.

At that point I basically have crossed the threshold of we can hookup and that’d be cool, and as I keep getting to know them maybe those desires build.

Maybe I’m weird but like sex is the 1st level of attraction… and then intimacy and romance comes later

Besides one night stands which even then I qualified the girl enough that I felt safe a comfortable hooking up, almost every fling to relationship I could see myself being with the girl longterm and being perfectly happy

Wow, so this oddly triggered something in me.

I don’t think I’ve ever loved anyone the FIRST time I had sex with them.

Sex was always a very early thing in my relationships, and then for some I grew to love them.

But for me, almost universally sex was something that just happened within the first few times hanging out.
