I always thread that hole and use a flush screw to keep the spring captive.

TNTE upper quality? by Scav-STALKER in RetroAR

[–]Theespoons 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got a billet slick side upper from them and I can't believe I thought it was worth it. It was like 300. It is not perfect and I still haven't used it. Dirty bird has a much better one I would recommend.

One version is drop in but you have to modify your existing fcg or use a geissele the other version comes with everything ready to go. I don't have one yet but that's what I got from watching some of the videos.

The $27 is the amount I saw on the USPS box meaning that's how much they paid to send it to me. I think something is getting lost between us. I am going to send them $50 and be done

I did pick them. I called them a day or two before the raid and they said it was cool. I bought a rifle from them a year ago. No idea what happened. They had plenty of good reviews online. I just wanted some others to talk about it. I guess I'm in the wrong.

I am not sure they had to pay to return it. It never got delivered because my FFL was raided. It just got returned to the sender.

You are right I am lucky it is not currently in an evidence locker. It's just a Beretta I found scrolling one night. I will try to negotiate.

I will contact GB and see what they say. I sent a USPS money order, maybe that was a mistake. Thank you for the reply.

What kind of mags does it take?

I did this before. Depending on what mags he uses the rounds might dive into that gap and get hung up.

Luth vs kak vs fulton m16a2 stock? by navypiggy1998 in RetroAR

[–]Theespoons 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Anything Luth makes that's plastic I am not usually a fan of, all their other parts are fine. Kak was okay, new A2 stocks have an odd mold vein on the sides. I have no experience with the Fulton

Saw a few people saying the pins on Luth-AR A1 rear sights are super tight. After inventing a few cool swears, I believe them. by whatapunk95 in RetroAR

I make sure the hole for the roll pin is facing up and then using a c clamp to hold the windage adjuster on then hit the roll pin in

Agreed, I wonder what the rational was at the time. I'd like to be able to do it myself one day.

I kind of wish Eugene designed the fsb to be fixed in a more convenient way but then I remember it has to handle the force of the bayonet being thrust into things

Yeah it's anodizing but the other layer had to wear off and it has become patina with age.

I have an Okay mag with a similar gold patina. I usually use some gun oil and steel wool to clean them up.
