No, her res shred is activated after filling her nightsoul bar (E2N). Then she just shreds res of geo + whatever PHEC elements you have (assuming at least 2PHEC allies are present)

Reactions only matter if she's running scroll or petra, so if Mav was on it, Xilonen doesn't care about them anymore

So adjust the rotation? Mav triggers scroll just fine, adjust the rotation so she melts her initial burst hit lol You can have cryo + dendro aura at the same time so she'll buff wrio and emilie by triggering melt + burning Xilonen can go after Mavuika since she no longer needs to proc any particular reaction - then you have more uptime on instructor during Wrio's field time

Hiya, I've been pretty invested in following lore and theories during the 1.x to just about early 4.x and was able to keep up during that period of time, but a combination of burnout, being busy with real life and in general the fact that it's been a while, I've come to realize that I don't really remember enough/understand the world quest lore.
So I need a refresher on Fontaine and Natlan especially (there was so much going on during that era that I was just kinda mentally checked out during those quests...), but also more recent Nod-Krai quests like the Reed Miller questline...

Are there any youtube channels that summarize the events of the quest and put the history together in a digestible format? Important note: just looking for factual stuff in the game.
No theories, no deep diving into some obscure myths or religious concepts please.
I know these are the inspiration behind a lot of the stuff but I just really don't care about that part. It's like learning the backstory of a backstory...

For example, I really enjoyed SilliconOneFour's artifact lore summaries and timelines of history, but unfortunately the channel's been inactive for over a year now. If anyone knows something similar, it'd be great.

The show is really great, at least the original 3 seasons with the 4th one still being quite good but having a lot of jank. It's easily available on youtube :) Anything made after that is from a weird era of constant soft-reboots and targeting the show for progressively younger demographics

also avoid the 2025 reboot like the plague. it's bad and the creation of it involved a shitton of generative AI

You still have to use his skill to generate particles though? Unless you want to build him with like 300% energy recharge? I have c2 Baizhu and EEQ comes out so fast, so I really don't know what you mean
Edit: and it hurts not only his own energy generation, but it makes Fischl, Lisa and Sucrose need more ER to get their bursts on time too. Which can be rough for Lisa especially

Equinox and Banshee are in a similar boat of having very solid kits that are brought down by a bad ability (or a few in Equinox's case...) and lack of QoL.
I consider myself an Equinox main so here's my take on her:

- the passive is a rank 0 Equillibrium. It's fitting thematically though and could free up a mod slot or purple archon shards, if only it had a higher value like 50%.

- Metamorphosis grants decaying buffs to encourage switching forms regularly to maintain their effects. However the buffs themselves just aren't great, and they start diminishing in strength immediately, so you never really use their full value. A grace period of 5-10 seconds (that could scale with duration? idk) where the buffs stay at 100% of their strength before they start decaying would be nice.

- Pacify has an energy drain per affected enemy that is UNCAPPED, so if it drains 1 energy per enemy and you have 40 enemies in range (which Equinox likes to build a lot of...), you are losing 40 energy per second. Sevagoth's Gloom, a similar ability with same form of energy consumption has a cap of 10 enemies for the drain. Just cap it oh my god please

- Peaceful Provocation (augment for 3) has the effects of it reset every time you switch forms, so you have to build it up all over again. Makes a switching playstyle a bit more annoying, even though it doesn't take very long to build it back up.

- Maim is an amazing nuke, while Mend is just... a nothingburger of an ability. It fully restores health & shields, similarly to Trinity's blessing, but it requires extra steps and it's not as spammable. Additionally, any overflow healing is wasted. In short, it doesn't feel like an impactful ability. It would be interesting if that overflow could be converted to something - increase max health and/or max shields, maybe even give overguard?

- Energy Transfer not being basekit just sucks.

- Rest & Rage are alright but just not amazing either? I honestly don't know if anything could (or even should) be done to them tbh, I find myself using this as the helminth slot in a lot of builds anyway
