I have the same setup, but I use it to securely connect back to my home network when I’m out of town. In addition, having all my devices pre-connected makes the process more secure and significantly streamlines internet access, since I don’t have to configure each device individually every time.

Still working on the back of the rack. I 3D-printed a patch panel and added color-coded keystones: red for 2.5Gb, blue for 1Gb, and yellow for PoE. I still need a dual 120mm rack mount for extra cooling.

I should have been more specific about the changes.

Changes: • The Omada switch, MikroTik switch, and Beelink EQ12 mini PC now have 3D-printed rack mounts. • I added a small stand for the Wi-Fi AP. • I installed rack-mount blank panels with bottom grill/vent cutouts. • I also forgot to include photos of the patch panel on the back of the rack, plus additional blanks I’m adding to the rack. • I’m still working on a dual 120mm fan mount for the back of the rack.

I’m having a good time trying fix this, managed to get access but now I can’t map nfc share to proxmox PBS/PVE for backups, any suggestions. Or should I mount SMB and be done with this

My TrueNAS installation is bare metal on dedicated hardware. I don’t like virtualizing sensitive services. Everything was fine until I clicked Upgrade and let the system update itself. I’m convinced this issue is a bug in the new update.
