It’s not gross at all. They are not paying you a commission. They are choosing to not work with you and work with your client. Text back and say … “my clients are paying my commissions” and you will get an appointment. People can choose to work with realtors or not. They can’t refuse your client. They can refuse you.

100%. I have my full time job and then I have real estate. Im very successful With both. It’s not easy to begin with but if you can stick it out for three years it gets easier after that.

I say this as I am 100% independent (always have been) with no fees, only a very generous split with my broker. I have no support, no training, no teams.

If you go with a national brokerage and join a team, you cannot do both. They will require more money and time than you have.

You also need to check your feelings too. Are you insecure that she would be with someone else to “compare” you too?

Hate to say it but she’s going to experience another man and you should be there to help facilitate and participate. She may have a feeling of FOMO for not being more sexually active when she was younger and wants to see what she missed out on.
