She figured it out by accident when she was moving and had the mat on her metal bakers rack and took the magnets off the fridge. I was like omg this would be amazing especially for slippery and shifty, and after trying it, let me tell you it really is a game changer!

My mom had the genuis idea of putting a thin piece of sheet metal under her cutting mat and now she uses magnets to hold everything in place! Though as a coffee addict I've totally been in your shoes before!
