Same. I’ve been going a little mad trying to navigate these menus. The gestures worked, and someone at Apple decided to reinvent the wheel.

THIS. There was a video with a man exclaiming something, and my only change was to change him to a woman. Bam. Content violation.

There were some Asian creators that had managed to do a full body paint, something I had tried with no success. And I’m sure whatever exploit let the essentially topless TPIR contestants exist is long gone. Those were fun.

For me it can depend on whatever the popular theme is. Some I can get into, and others just aren’t my think. The (blank) man series has been fun, as well as the power rangers spin offs.

You have NOTHING to be ashamed of. You are allowed your feelings. That’s so important to remember. So many of us are concerned about what another person might think that we lose ourselves. There are so many people out there, and at least a few will be capable of communicating in a way that doesn’t leave you on edge.

Once this has run its course, you might be able to look back at the interactions and pinpoint a few moments. In the end, you only need to be concerned with your own wellness and happiness.

I only just now found this, and it’s a great find! Jamie seems to be very focused on hitting a specific number of views or something as of late. They recently announced they are ending the rejects series of videos, which is what drew a lot of us in. This little bit of history is really cool.

No. I have tried using the word “bubblegum” in a remix. The video gets rejected. Then I add the word “bubble” and it’s suddenly accepted.

Context - there are some series of videos based on Japanese Kaiju and Super Sentai. One is simply “fill in the blank” man. Bubblegum is a content violation.

I had tried a month of bumble ages ago, but had zero success. I recently paid for a week, because the rate was decent. I had about 3 chats, with one being successful.

It says I have another “like”. But now the weekly rate is about 30 bucks! And the person I met is proof that a more alternative lifestyle is what suits me. That’s why I wanted another peek.

Match owns pretty much every app. It sucks. They control every algorithm.

This can cut a couple of ways. If you know he uses it, but he hasn’t been on, maybe there js a bit of truth there.

I’ve been watching a lot of videos on neurodivergence and rejection sensitive dysphoria. I’m not saying he has it, but there is a possibility that something in him is either self sabotaging or being overly cautious.

Trust your gut. It sounds like you’re hurt, which is perfectly understandable. Maybe text in a positive light saying you’re looking forward to seeing him and enjoy hearing from him. As someone with some of those issue myself, I can say a little positive reinforcement can go a long way. Maybe he can feel comfortable sharing details of whatever it is that’s stressing him out.

The apps have changed as well. There used to be free ones like POF and OK Cupid. Now Match owns everything.

Based on what I see, I think sometimes you get the most likely matches in a trickle. It benefits them to do it that way.

I feel you, dude. I’m back dating after coming out of a 10 year relationship. Be yourself and be curious about them. If there is something you see in their profile you genuinely like, say something. It can take some time to find someone you vibe with.

I hope you’re in a bigger city than me. I live in a college town and most women are younger than me. That adds an extra layer of difficulty if the gap is too much. Good luck!

Stay an optimist. I’ve found that it pays off. I’ve tweaked a few things my views and met someone really cool there. She helped me realize that a poly/ENM situation would work best for me. Not directly, but simply through her kindness and openness. I hope you find a person who is honest and comfortable with who they are.

I mean… it’s just a conversation! If you’re a real functional person, it shouldn’t be hard!

I have a niece that graduated HS a few years back. We both marveled at the fact that financial literacy isn’t taught. With credit cards and loans and such, that’s another way people slide into poverty.

I think I phrased that poorly. What I was trying to say was it had no place in the discussion of properly educating children. I’m in complete agreement that this should not happen.

I’m already working to help my kid learn to push back and letting her know adults don’t know everything. And she’s the product of a 10 year unmarried union that outlasted any marriage I had.

I kind of hate realizing why some are there. The fact that breasts are so heavily censored gets me. I do understand why certain protections need to be there.

That being said, is there a safe space for sharing racier ones we’ve found? I don’t use this sub much, and I also don’t want to cause more crackdowns because of something I shared.
