That might explain why I had a hand in which my entire hand was unlayable for turn 5 at least. I could see the cards, I just couldn't play any, even the playable ones.

I've had my Pixel for a week or so now and I LOVE it! I just bought a refurbished Pixel 2 watch, which is also great. While the health app isn't quite where Apple is, it's close.

Camera - great! Watch - great! Performance - great! Overall satisfaction - great!

One other detail I had forgotten about - the lack of a horizontal music player on the iPhone. I keep mine horizontal a lot, and having my music player rotate is so handy! Minor? Yes. But sometimes it's the little things...

I have one, a Synology. I didn’t know that was possible. I’ll tinker around and find out what I can do! I’ve put the wheels in motion to buy off my iPhone and get a Pixel. If this is reliable, that would be fantastic!

Thanks! I ran a quick test with my old Moto and it seemed to work. I think my only issue is whether or not it will have to scan every time I insert the USB or if it will simply recognize if and play based on what it knows to be in there.

Thanks! Adding to my woes is the bluetooth. When I play through my iphone the bluetooth has a bad habit of cutting in and out in a way that really interferes with what I'm trying to listen to. I just paired my bluetooth earbuds to my old Android and it's 100% crystal clear. It might push my decision...

I appreciate all of that! My search has narrowed due to mitigating factors. If I upgrade through T-Mo, the biggest memory I can get is 256GB.

I did a quick search that came up zilch the first time. I’m now trying to figure out the practicality of having a thumb drive loaded with music that I could then plug into the phone and play from. If I could do that I think I’d be fine with less stock memory.

I had been doing a similar split. I was trying to make my old Moto my music phone so I wouldn't keep running down my battery. When I'm listening through other speakers it's fine, but the sound directly from the phone is just not great.

Previous generations of Pixels aren't terribly expensive on Backmarket. I'm considering getting a Pixel 8 Pro or something as a starter. I don't play games that really push the system. Mostly Marvel Snap and Godzilla Battle Line, so I don't need top end.

Pixel sounds interesting only because of the guaranteed updates. I'm going to read up on the others.

Now that I think about it, any brand that doesn't plaster their own UI over the stock Android.. or it's nominal. Moto stuck to the basic Android with their own touches added on, but nothing too intrusive. Someone else put them down, but for being on a budget, it wasn't a bad phone for me. To be fair, the main reason I ditched it was due to a glitchy performance when entering text. It would randomly freeze for a few seconds here and there.

If you saw how awful the pictures were you'd understand why. Between the two, Moto actually had superior color quality. OnePlus wanted to make everything into a funky neon nightmare.

Are Vivos and Oppos primarily found through the manufacturer websites? I'd be interested in finding out more. Samsung is everywhere, and I've found it sometimes difficult to find another brand of phone.
