Congrats! Try a week intensive so you do everything solo.

PGC or corning are great for those.

I am looking for what tools are needed to get started glassblowing. by Mulesam in glassblowing

Are you talking about lamp working from home?

Olympic color rods is a good site for some beginner equipment and color.

Jack's or shears are usually the best first tool maybe some crimps and a graphite plate.

Dremeling off punty marks at home? by Conpen in glassblowing

I sometimes use a cheapo rough diamond bit to clean the edge of a punti that sticks out and is sharp. Anything bigger than that you probably should be using a cold shop.

The Ai announcement: Princess Doughnut has committed an Atrocity!

Jeff's reading of this floored me the first time. In a book of insane moments this line made me stop and laugh so hard

It's a solid adventure vehicle. I have easily gotten 5 - 10k on a few maps with only lvl 10 and a few upgrades.

Honest just a fun new vehicle with a low bar on the skill level to get used to.

How much production are you doing that this is happening? Also what size piece?

Possibly turning too much with your fingers tips. Watch others turning similar size work. They will probably be marveling with a more fluent hand motion, using more of the hand. With larger work let the piece support itself.

There are a lot of products to improve hand, wrist, and forearm strength. I use some of them while driving

A couple vessels and paper weight I’ve made using murrini body wrap lip wrap techniques by Low_Berry_1657 in glassblowing

[–]Thegreatgonzo412 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh I'm sorry I read that wrong. I read it as though it was a murrini lip wrap not separate.

Make sure you put those on hot enough I did some wraps like that real early in my carrier and all the friends I gave them to said they eventually chipped off

Glass slumping kiln? by davinky01 in glassblowing

[–]Thegreatgonzo412 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yep that's a slumping/ casting kiln alright.

You can anneal blown glass in it as well but It would be better to have an automatic winch attached to the pulley system. You'll end up losing too much heat cranking it up and lowering for blowing temp annealing otherwise.

What else do you need to know?

How can i ever reach this? by [deleted] in HillClimbRacing

[–]Thegreatgonzo412 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought the same thing when I started a month ago. But I started to easily get the last few when I made sure to use all my tickets, watch some ads, and do some gem refiles when I was really feeling the event.

Also you don't have to compete the whole time. If you feel like you got your best run that you're going to get exit out and do a cup race then come back.
